The safety value of a LED over a dim candle (halogen) is priceless in my opinion. My TJ, JL and JT all have LED. Yes it does suck that you cant "replace a bulb". But I've never had to replace a LED headlight/ tail light. I have had to replace halogens.

Dealers love to rip people off. It also should not be a $20 bulb change because there not a bulb. It's a sealed unit with a circuit board. A new tail light is less than $400 and they are super easy to replace.
