Hi! I’m a newbie. I want to replace my factory headlights, marker/side and fog lights with LED. I’m guessing I have factory 7’s and they are halogen. I can’t figure out 100% the size of my headlights even when looking on mopar and measuring the headlight. It’s dumb I know.

Couple questions……
1. Where do people get their lights from?
2. What’s the real benefit of 9” vs 7”?

You can switch to whatever you like, and a dealer can modify the bcm (for a fee) to stop hyper flash and any error messages.

Not sure if they have em for ‘25 yet but I’m probably going with Diode Dynamics for lights. Those and I believe Morimoto are my 2 choices for headlights.
Diode Dynamics making new lights before I drop my $1100??

I have a ‘21 Gladiator with LED headlights, the outer light ring of the headlight has gone bad. Need to replace the entire headlight, not just bulbs. Price out a single headlight, $300 +
Sure you want LED?

Value is a bit relative........that said, Diode Dynamics Elite user here (both headlights and fogs) and I consider them great value.

The safety value of a LED over a dim candle (halogen) is priceless in my opinion. My TJ, JL and JT all have LED. Yes it does suck that you cant "replace a bulb". But I've never had to replace a LED headlight/ tail light. I have had to replace halogens.

I’ve had one JL with aftermarket 7” led headlights (KC) in adapters (adapters are $30 on Amazon) and two JTs with factory LED. The factory LED are exceptional lights. That being said, I never had an issue with the aesthetics or function of the 7” lights (which are much cheaper). My first choice would be OEM headlights. If I were to spend big money on aftermarket LED I’d want them to have heated lenses (for snow and ice accumulation). For the $300-500 you can buy OEM for, that’s my preference. The OEM led are exceptionally bright

If you’re considering a complete headlight upgrade, our Oculus™ Bi-LED headlights are designed specifically for the JL/JT platform. They’re a full projector housing (not just a bulb), DOT compliant, and plug-and-play without needing BCM programming. You get a much sharper cutoff and significantly improved output over halogen.

We run sales pretty regularly, and forum members here can always use code GLADIATOR10 if you decide to go that route!

I went with the 7" Trucklite headlights (part #27270C) and used adapter brackets (can't remember what brand). Been on for 5~ years with no issue. We have used Trucklite lighting on our heavy duty equipment for years and years... great products.

OEM MOPAR, Baja Designs new DOT LP6 and Diode Dynamics are the ones to look at. At least those are what I would be looking at.
