Been seeing a lot of Gladiators, mostly Sports and some Overlands, sitting on FCA dealers' lots around here.
Might just be a general market lull in the pre-Xmas/New Years time period though.
Thanks!
One comparative question I haven't seen answer is: as between the Mopar mats and the aftermarket brands, has anyone measured the mats actual coverage area on the floor to determine whether a particular brand offers greater/wider surface cover, including on the sides, to catch...
Didn't get the factory mats for my Rubicon.
So now looking for aftermarket slush mats - fronts & rears. What's the consensus on the best ones?
And where'd you get them?
Thanks.
Couldn't find it, but how are the Rubi's Falken WildPeak ATs rated for snow, ice, etc.?
We're already planning a trip into the U.P. next fall (late Nov).
Thanks for posting this info, as I have the folding 3-pc hard metal cover. I was looking hard at these Undercover storage cases, although I don't have the 110 outlet. Even so, I don't want a hassle with fitment. Just looking for an easy install.
Sorry if this question has been asked and answered already, but on my Rubi build I opted not to get the trail-rail package that would've included the lockable under-seat storage boxes under the rear seats.
I figured eventually one or more aftermarket vendors (e.g., Tuffy) would offer a more...
So, my Rubi build might qualify as being 'semi-loaded.'
Roughly, what ballpark figure would you considered to be getting a 'great deal' on such? ... $49K? $52K?
Once you walk, don't go back.
Dealers and their senior sales guys are like coyotes. They can sense weakness and just to reel you back in they'll pitch some throw-away lines which they won't back up in writing.
They're subtle beasts.
Similar to my build, except it was the LED and proximity locks I already had.
Then my sales guy calls me with the news about the 'mandatory bundling' of these three options and now the build has to include the safety group.
Says to me: 'No biggie. It'll improve your trade or re-sale value...
I like that.
But was curious, did you/can you bolt the box down to the floor of the bed (for the extra security)? I had a Tuffy lock box in an old Wrangler and the unit came with holes in the inside corners so you could bolt it down.
Still waiting on my Rubi, but I'm glad to see this post. Thanks for the pics too!
The U.P. makes a perfect location for testing how the JL will hold up under harsh winter conditions. All the little things that low temps, snow, wind, ice, and the freeze-thaw-freeze cycle can do to vehicle...
Yeah, I agree.
I'm not getting why guys feel the need to run the fuel tank down to the last drop, or risk wheeling around with less than a 1/4 tank full (?!).
My 'fuel tank policy' for at least 30-yrs on a variety of vehicles, including several in the Jeep line, has been to never let the...
