Here in Colorado, most of the SUVs with AWD that get in trouble because their street tires fail them, not due to ground clearance, lack of locking differentials or no low range. Most all the trails that require high clearance, 4x4 and a low range state so in a sign at the trail head. We also...
I have an ARB Zero fridge installed, but wired direct. Never had an issue with it until my auxiliary battery died. I deleted the aux battery and replaced the original with a better one. 39 months on the original batteries was better than I expected.
My 2021 Mojave cruise control works great above 40 mph. Around 35 mph it seems to get confused and we have a lot of small towns where the speed limit goes from 65 to 35 here.
Most of my driving is a mix of around town, trails and some highway. This morning driving from Monument to Louisville, CO was all highway. I reset Trip B every oil change.
I ran the original 33" Falkens on my 21 Mojave for over 50k at 37 psi and rotated every oil change, no issues. Last fall I replaced them with 35" Falkens because they performed better on snow and ice then my BFG AT/KO2 did on my Ram. Still no issus and I run these at 34psi. I think your tire...
I have one on my TJ, no spare and no issues with rubbing. On the JT I have a bag I won as a door prize and have yet to mount it, mostly because I use my tailgate as a message board so it is covered in decals so looking to mount it on the rack somewhere.
I didn't know there was such a thing. My 21 Mojave does the same thing, usually while merging onto the interstate, uphill or down, it will hold 5,000 rpm even after I have taken my foot off the accelerator and I have to tap and sometimes stand on the brakes to get ot to upshift. I took it to my...
I just went through this and I pulled the aux battery, replaced the main battery, pulled #42 fuse and jumped the to right hand post on the back or engine side of the fuse box. Everything works great and all my apps and nav/unconnect features came back in a few hours.
Not on my Gladiator, but I have been running Raceline Rock Monster beadlocks on the TJ for years here in Colorado, including long drives to Moab and Hurricane, Utah with no issues.
Deleted the Aux Battery and replaced the main battery. Everything seems to be working Gunner now. Here are two photos and one shows the accessories post on the negative side that folks were questioning me about.
Okay, well the negative, black cable from the aux battery has a side post that all my powered accessories is mounted too. If I disconnect that cable, I have no place to mount the accessories cables. Don't know how to explain it any better.
90 minutes on the charger and the Jeep started and...
Yesterday morning everything electrocal worked but it wouldn't start. After two hours on the charger it started. At first I was going to disconnect the ground for the Aux Battery and pull #42 fuse, but the side post on the ground is where my lights, winch, etc. Is mounted, so I went to plan B...
Yesterday I by passed the aux battery and this morning the Gladiator won't start, but now I am getting a message that the transmission isn't in Park and it is. I have the battery back on the charger again and I will try to manually shift it out of park. I know there is a way to do it, so YouTube...
So after 39 months, my auxiliary battery failed. First fix was disconnecting the negative for five minutes, that didn't work. Put the main battery on a charger and after two hours the Jeep started. While searching solutions I came up with disconnecting the ground to the aux battery and pulling...
That is a lot of added weight in a Mojave. I am running Rockhard aluminum bumpers front and rear with a Warn Zeon10 winch. Mojave came with rock sliders from the factory but the Rockhard rear bumper also provides rear corner protection. When the original 33's needed to be replaced I went with an...
