I know it's been said before but holy hell the new steering box is amazing! I don't live far from the dealership but just the short drive home was noticeably different in a good way. The whole truck feels different in every aspect. I wonder what all the programming update changes.
Pic of my...
Prime reason why I went aftermarket. I love the look of the Mopar steel bumper for after everything you need to mount the winch AND the price of the bumper, it is definitely cost prohibitive when stout aftermarket bumpers can be had for half the price of just the mopar bumper.
It's all in who you talk to. My first service advisor said no big deal, order the parts and once they get here we will do the work, lift, 37s, didn't matter. He left, new guy was making me jump through all sorts of hoops. I said screw him and called the service manager directly. Guess what...
It's not just the weight of the vehicle, you have to keep in mind being stuck frame deep in mud or what be it. Those forces will add a lot more weight to the pull.
I am done with this dealership. Went to drop the truck off and he said he can't give me a rental because it wasn't set up far in advance. I don't know who can be without a vehicle for an unknown number of days without a vehicle.....
How do I get Jeep Cares involved?
It is on the driver side, if you move the front of the fender liner away you can see the steering box and also check the part number right there as well. I will definitely check the part number before I leave the dealership if I can get them to do the work.
Exactly, that is why it is so frustrating but I will hope they do they work this coming week. I am going to take off my Fuels/37s and put my stock Rubi wheels back on. I think I will check the toe also while I am at it. You seem very knowledgeable on these, any resources or pointers on checking...
One would think it would have been a no brainer since the parts are sitting there. I will drop it off wednesday and make sure they know my parts are there under my name so maybe they will just do the TSB work and be done with it. I am curious what happens to "my" parts if they decline with work...
Went in person to my local dealership and found out my parts were in, no one ever called. Went into service to schedule an appointment and the great guy I dealt with at first is no longer at that dealership. New guy seemed like he didn't give a crap about the TSB so now I have an appointment to...
Here's mine
Mopar Lift
Fuel Beasts 17" +1 offset
37x12.50 Milestar Pats
I am curious about leveling my Rubi with the Mopar lift installed. I do have a full metal bumper with winch and so the front is 2.25" lower than the rear. I was thinking going with the Teraflex kit and doing the full 1.5"...
It's funny the comments, had it done at the dealer so my warranty is still intact. Your warranty was always intact regardless if they did the install or not. Warranty on the LIFT itself is a different story. The vehicle warranty was not altered. Seems some are getting confused with the separate...
Morning everyone.
I am curious about leveling my Rubi with the Mopar lift installed. I do have a full metal bumper with winch and so the front is 2.25" lower than the rear. I was thinking going with the Teraflex kit and doing the full 1.5" stack. That being said, the Teraflex kit comes with...
Mine is slightly lower on the passenger side but I double checked the spring part numbers probably 20 times before moving on with the lift install so no clue.
The 35 vs 37 debate rages on lol. I was in the same boat until I saw the 37s installed on mine and fell in love even more with the look of these trucks! As many say, if you are debating it just go with the 37s. Truthfully, the price of Milestars for me was less than $10 more to go 37s vs the...
Thanks. They cranked mine up to 41 and they are definitely domed in the center so I know they need some air out but I do like the added height lol. I think I'm going to drop the pressure a bit and change my tire size with JSCAN. Thanks again.
I have never heard the term "crown tire" as you both mentioned. I am assuming that means you don't want to run them at lower pressures like other tires so the Pats ride more in the center of the tread pattern? I don't see this mentioned anywhere on Milestar's website. What psi are you guys...
After a month due to an incorrect order I finally had my Fuel Beasts and 37s installed. I cannot believe how the truck looks now. I was trying to justify keeping my stock 33 MTs on with the Mopar lift since I didn't think it looked terrible but seeing it now is amazing! Listen to those who say...
I went from stock Rubi to the Mopar lift. I actually loved the soft feel of the factory Fox shocks on the Rubi. I would definitely say the ride is firmer with the larger shocks from the Mopar kit but that being said the ride is still very nice. Also, with the longer travel I would hit the bump...
