You're going to love it, the only thing that might turn you off is that porting is a bit concussive when shooting it. Especially indoors. Once you get used to it, you don't even notice it anymore.
The prodigy will probably shoot a bit smoother just because it's based off the 1911 platform, and...
Nice choice! Those M&P 2.0 comps are awesome!
My experience has been that hotter ammo runs softer in ported guns so when you get yours, try both the hot ammo and the soft ammo. If the ports are doing their job, the extra gas makes for flatter recoil.
My favorite training ammo for 9mm is...
While that makes sense, the airflow moving through the radiator evacuates below the engine, where there is much more capacity for air flow volume than what is being brought through the radiator.
Without some sort of wind tunnel, a clear hood, and smoke test, it's hard to validate any of this...
That's totally understandable to grow impatient in your situation.
Cool well if that ends up being a fact on the cooling benefits, I might just have to order one. lol
Nice build. Now you have me interested in what Motobilt is coming out with for tails.
Is there a benefit in the 25+ grille and is that a direct swap without modification? Or is it just cosmetic preference?
I'd carry one too if I wasn't in love with my 365 X Macro. I have a 4.25 M&P 2.0 with Monsoon Tactical's "dimebag" 10 port and it's awesome, but the Icarus grip module on the X Macro just sets it apart in ergonomics and comfort.
I'm obsessed with multicam if you can't tell. lol
M&P is a great gun, I think you'll like it based on what you said about other guns. The grip angle is more traditional but it also has a reputation for reliability that rivals Glock.
Glock grip angle doesn't work for a lot of people. I tried to force myself into it for a long time and found...
Wow I found my people. I've been doing a ton of training over the last couple years and have established a massive obsession with ported handguns. My favorite being a P365 X Macro with Icarus Precision grip module and Monsoon Tactical Lucky 7's custom porting.
Here's a picture from when it was...
Since the Jeep came with rockslide engineering steps, I decided to just add the skid plates so I can confidently use them as actual rocksliders.
Thought about selling them off and getting some traditional rock sliders but after doing research and talking to a lot of people who have these and...
I was kind of dreading this part of the project but I needed the switches before I could wire any other accessories.
It ended up being a lot easier than expected, only taking about 2 hours. Good way to use a warm overcast day. No sweat, just a little bloodshed.
I just realized that the...
Took a bit of time to delete the aux battery and replace the H6 Mopar battery with a H7 94R Duralast AGM "Platinum Elite".
I've had great luck with the Duralast Platinum AGM batteries. They tend to last longer than my ownership of a car.
The "elite" adds an additional year to the warranty and...
Dang, they were ready to write a policy for my Audi. They didn't mention anything when I added the Wrangler either. It was the only a problem once I tried to add the Beetle (which we sold in 2021).
I'll keep all this in mind and stop recommending Haggerty.
You can try Haggerty Insurance. They focus on custom car insurance for things like hot rods and classics, and you can declare the value.
I had issues getting a policy with them in the past only because I wanted multi-car policy that included my wife's basic car so they turned me down. They had...
Those have become very popular.
Open Road 13k winches have been growing in popularity also. My friend has one and likes it.
Both are rated IP67. I'll probably get the Apex once I get to the point of installing bumpers.
In the past, I abused the heck out of a Smittybilt and it never skipped a...
I had no idea he was so controversial.. but I didn't watch him very much.
I think he had an accu-air air ride system on one jeep, the type of system that people usually put on sports cars, and that proved to work out about as well as you'd think. Satisfied some of my curiosity though, at...
I have a lot to learn about diesel specifically but usually, yes you would need a fuel cap to maintain the pressurized fuel system. Also keeps contaminates out and fumes in.
Usually in a gas vehicle, you'll eventually get a CEL without a fuel cap.
This might not apply to the eco diesel since...
Thanks! Hopefully it still looks good when I'm done. lol
Blue wasn't my first choice but it really has grown on me. I always buy cars used and my only color requirement was that it couldn't be black this time. 😅
