  1. 2023 Chevrolet Colorado First Drive: One of the Best Midsizers Asserts Itself

I am really hoping that this turns out to be a great truck. This is 99% of what I want out of a truck at this stage and the price is pretty great. If I could get my hardtop to stop leaking on me in the rain I would be less tempted. Also, man I wish Jeep had better seats. I would miss my...
  2. My journey from a 5" to 7" Uconnect

Well I didn't order this panel but ordered the new sun sensor just to see if that will work. I bought 68230114AB from allmopar and hopefully that is the right one. We will see. If this one works for the full auto I will buy this panel for the single zone and see if they work together. I really...
  3. My journey from a 5" to 7" Uconnect

Well that's a bummer. I am really starting to wonder what the infotainment.com programing is. When you buy the screen they "program" it and that is bs. They do something right with the heater controls though. I just wish they used this unit and not the auto climate control one.
  4. My journey from a 5" to 7" Uconnect

I’m really interested to see how this works out. I did the swap and went to the trouble of installing the temp sensor too. Mine had factory sun sensor so the wiring was there. Unfortunately my temps still do the same thing where they basically go from full hot, to full cold. Set on dual zone atc...
  5. Destination Unknown - 2022 JTR journal

Thanks for the work on the detailed write-ups. Really helps so many people.
  6. Trailer Brake Controller Installed - Redarc Tow Pro Liberty

Nice, I installed mine this last summer and went for just below the start button. That one turns out was a bad idea as I always hit the thing with my knee. Wouldn't do that again!
  7. Andrew's 2022 Sarge Green Mojave - Northern CA

Man I love the look of that!!! High on my mod list for sure.
  8. 37's and MPG

One thing to really think about is someone with light wheels and light 37's is going to get way better mpg's than someone with super heavy wheels and heavy mud tires. You can easily have about 45lbs more weight per wheel and tire package depending on your choice. This difference is going to be...
  9. Single or Double Lockers

Depends on what you really do for wheeling. If you are in a nasty situation, where one of the rear wheels has nothing to bite into, it will just spin. A full locker has no replacement. That said, an lsd drives better, and unless you are in something nasty it is fine. IMO, if you are wheeling a...
  10. Sanctuary build

Love the build and the whole setup.
  11. Patagonia XT's

Man that is a good looking Jeep! Love that blue
  12. Jeep Comanche ?

I hate myself for liking this so much. haha
  13. Stock Wheel (17x7.5) All Terrain Tire (33-35) Guide

285/70R17 doesn't have any issues at all and looks pretty good. You could go a little bigger pretty comfortably if you stay skinny.
  14. Why do Chrysler Dealerships hate Jeeps?

I honestly didn't realize Chrysler was still a thing. haha I cannot remember the last time I saw a Chrysler that wasn't ancient.
  15. Uconnect 5 to 8.4 Issues

Thanks @jeep1 I have the sun sensor but don't have the auto climate sensor. Still need to get some odds and ends but wanted to figure out if the big screen had better auto play for Bluetooth streaming. If the little 5" would automatically start streaming my music after a restart, I probably...
  16. Uconnect 5 to 8.4 Issues

Ok, so here is what I figured out. I hope this helps someone. Tying to vin is bs from what I see. I could be wrong, but I believe as long as you have the security code and the correct screen, the head unit has the ability to adapt. plug the radio in, and give the car the entire night to adapt...
  17. Uconnect 5 to 8.4 Issues

Having trouble finding solutions and looking for help. 2020 Gladiator with base 5". I bought a used 8.4 from a 2020 Gladiator (68417861AH) Plugs in, most things work, but backup camera doesn't work and the unit itself is insanely laggy. I know I will need to add a GPS antenna, heater...
  18. Gladiators and Camper Pictures

3.6L, 2100lbs loaded, and the worst tank I got in 1,600miles was 15.6mpg. Great truck and super happy with the Gladiator. I did the speed limit on every road, and never slowed down for any of the grades.
  19. AEV 370 JTRD

I like how the lights turned out. Nice build!
