Here’s my opinion and questions op. What are you going to do with it after you get the lift? There’s plenty of lifts out there that will get the attention of many people, but what is it going to do for you?
For me... my queen has gone under a big surgery replacing many components under her...
So I got a reply from teraflex... I got the longest shocks they make for the JT in which the rears are 32.3” extended... idk maybe they are limiting my flex... I’ll have to try the ramp again after taking out the shock ;)
no, I don’t think it did. I did loose some of my rake but I still have it due to my winch and bumper setup.
the springs are like 3.5” front and 2.5” rear???? I think???... you might have to call MC directly, the guys there are really good on their information.
Decide to take the queen to a shop while they had an rti ramp out. Got a score of 702... but she was lifting a rear tire before the front was done... gonna figure out how to get her to dance better.
Went wheeling with a friend while back. The queen did some work but was treated to some awesome views(before fires). Found a favorite poser rock... thank goodness I had my two step ladder... I couldn’t get in otherwise... yes short jokes here.
I was able to get my ride up on a rti ramp the other day. What surprised me is that when I got to my stoping point is that my rear driver tire was lifting off but I still had more room to go on the front. I got a score of 702... but now thinking of how I can get more articulation without loosing...
You can still drive your vehicle but... it will cause more damage to the area in question. If it’s a track bar bolt loose, the bolt hole will wallow out and death wobble can repeat over and over again until either: a) repair the size of hole back to original size to fit the bolt ...ie welding...
Just a thought here... I had a WJ with a lift and a jks trackbar. I hit a bump and bamm... death wobble... had to stop on the side of the road... it took me a bit but I found that my jamnut on the trackbar was loose. I tightened it up and bamm... all fixed.
my suggestion is to check all your...
Well here, up north in Fort Collins, it’s not great. I have breathing issues as it is and I don’t want to go outside if I don’t have to.
also the fire that has shut down i70 over the mountains is (so far) the 4th largest the state has seen (on record) and it’s unchecked at the moment.
If you get a chance, go to the dealership and go play with the big screen. The coolness wears off within a week... also look at it this way... yes the Uconnect system is a good oem unit that gets praise just like a stock form Jeep does... but we all modify our jeeps to make them better... and...
here's my take... I traded off my 2019 ram 1500 limited that had this screen in it... For my JT... To control the HVAC you had to tap the screen over and over and over... and the big screen is a waste of space IMO. I hated the dual screen capability and wished that I could turn it off completely...
