Tazer here. From stock 33s to 37s and adjusted accordingly, I only dropped to 12.5mpg from 13.5mpg. Mostly in town driving, but took a day trip last month and was 12.5 to 13mpg on the freeway.
I bought it for the SPG. Smiles per Gallon! So far, no disappointments!
Oh...and I run 35psi on...
Lasfit is a good option.
Here is the one I purchased. See my thread for more pics. Also not backlit.

Just ran 158 miles round trip. First long trip with 37s and 4.10; JTR. Averaged 11.5, to include the offroading and lots of hills. With the 33s I was at 12.5-13, so not much of a change. I saw 8th quite more than I thought I would. If it was a daily, I might regear....for now...this was...
So many cheap cars as a kid... I will not waste my offroad budget on struts. But to each their own. Just installed a couple interior mods that will be on my thread.
They have it available on their website, but pretty pricey. Keep an eye on the current draw...as I just learned most cigarette/aux plugs are only rated for ~12-15A. My compressor is a 30A draw....so planning on a 40A plug rating with 8AWG wiring.
JTR - Gas. JTRD - Diesel.
This is JTR - Gas. Not sure of the suspension differences.
At minimum, I would assume shocks, as JTRD is certainly heavier. Not sure on the rest...this is my first Jeep, let alone JT.
Modifying my plans a bit after reading up on Aux Outlets and 15A limitation for most.
Going with a trolling motor connection rated for 40A and 8 AWG wire.
I already have a 40A automotive relay that I'll connect to an AUX switch to send power to the bed from the battery.
Downloaded the 3D print...
These are stock on Rubicon. Those looking for them may consider takeoffs.
Glad some got good deals! Looks like the sale is over. Everything looks to be normal price.
I think my dad got the cement bags from work (aka, free fifty free). Put them in and swap to "snow tires". I don't remember him ever getting stuck. (Kentucky)
I would certainly want to ensure that they were. I completely understand wanting to have some, just in case. No sense in senseless...
I was stopped years ago on my way to Big Bear Mtn in my Chevy 1500 4x4, spacer lift, and 33 ATs and had to go get chains.
I don't know....but does Kalifornia recognize socks as chain alternatives?
Also suggested: When I was a kid my dad would but cement bags in the back of the truck to help...
Thanks!
There must be as the tires are the same size. I even had to get the matching spare because of the backspacing. Plan to do a 5 wheel rotation.
I'll admit I didn't research the JTRD for spare tire clearance. I did considered it while shopping for a Rubicon...
I also considered larger...
Working on my onboard air setup. Didn't want something permanent and this compressor has been working great for years. If it ever dies, I'll upgrade the compressor.
Plan is 8 AWG from the battery via CB/Fuse to a power block in the bed (12VDC Aux power, USB, and a readout, with switch, as I...
Dang! I was hoping you 3D printed it. That Youtube video shows a link to download from their site, but they've removed that link and are selling the print for $50. Way too much for a simple design and print.
Thanks for showing, as that is exactly what I'm looking for...12VDC to the bed...
