  1. Rust proofed the Gladiator today

Having bought out the lease on my 2020 this summer, I figured it was a good time to finally rust proof the rig. I ended up using a $50 rattle can kit from Amazon called "Wool wax" It includes 3 cans and a hose adapter so you can reach inside the frame and other closed off cavities. I used to...
  2. BEST WIPER BLADES FOR GLADIATOR?

Still running the original OEM on my 2020. I'll likely stick with OEM when the time comes.
  3. Access Literider Installed

It was 90% about cost for me. I also didn't need/ or see the value in the Lorado version and the extra betty stuff it comes with. Keep in mind the Literider is the lower cost and the Lorado is the more expensive.
  4. Access Literider Installed

I don't recall there being an Access "Original" model. I think they only offer a Literider and a Lorado model for the JT. You are basically correct on the differences between the two though. The Lorado is more expensive and will sit lower than the Literider as well. The Lorado also comes with...
  5. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

That may be right for a full on lift kit, but we are talking about a small 1.5 inch leveling kit. Not a 2+ inch lift that replaces the springs and other components. Your diagram also shows both springs bowing outwards. The issue we are having is one spring bowing out and the other is perfectly...
  6. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

This was one of the first things I considered when I encountered the bowing spring on my JT. But after a ton of research and looking at my front end closely, I came to the conclusion that adding a 1.5 inch leveling kit is not enough to alter the horizonal position of the front axle enough to...
  7. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

If you look at my earlier posts, I have a picture with the box and the part number on it for the one I used.
  8. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

I only have under $100 into it all. At the time, I was fortunate enough to work at a truck accessory shop that allowed me to buy all of the parts for well under retail. And I was able to return the Daystar kit for a full refund. But I'll likely upgrade to a full suspension kit when I get bored...
  9. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

Looks great! I chose to only use the correction pad on the driver side because my passenger side looked normal. It's unfortunate that here's some issue with the factory pads that cause issues, but I'm glad that there's a solution for it. My guess is that most people who are running spacer kits...
  10. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

The Daystar kit doesn't require you to use the factory isolators and it wouldn't be possible anyways because the Daystar spacers have tabs on the top of them to align into the factory holes. They replace the factory isolators. The bow correction kit fixed the problem for me. The problem had to...
  11. Access Literider Installed

It's a rubber L shaped seal that my work buys in bulk for installing with tonneau covers. Access cover includes a strip with their Lorado covers, but you may be able to buy it online by itself. The key is that it needs to be L shaped.
  12. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

Just an update for everyone following. I put on my factory wheels and tires for the winter, and used it as an opportunity to install the Daystar bow correction kit, and it seems to have eliminated 80-90% of the bowing. Feels good to have figured it out. Added some pictures as well
  13. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

I am no longer using the Daystar kit, but yes, that is how I installed it, with the pins coming through the top of the metal perch. I'm using the Teraflex kit now, much better quality but it's still getting the same result. I've had a bow correction kit sitting in my garage for several months...
  14. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

I'm convinced it's a problem with the spring itself or a flaw with the factory spring perch (The piece that the bottom of the spring seats into) I took a look at a stock Gladiator recently and notices that the driver side spring still had a bit of bow to it.
  15. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

Who is doing that? Definitely not me.
  16. How popular are Gladiators where you are?

I live in area that has 3 cities totaling about 100k people, and I see at least one JT a week not including mine. What's odd is I was in Minneapolis about a month ago for work, and I was totally expecting to see a few JTs around, but nope, I never saw one.
  17. Front coil spring bending after Daystar leveling kit.

Unfortunately, no resolution for me. I ditched the Daystar kit for a Teraflex, but am getting the same result, although the Teraflex is much better quality. My last option that I will be trying is to install a spring bow correction kit. Basically they are a pair of new spring perches that are...
  18. Received new meats for the Gladiator. Falken Rubitreks

Well, I finally paired up the meats with a set of Quadratec 17 inch wheels. Putting that stimulus check to work!
  19. Just an FYI regarding fresh sap on your truck.

Over the weekend I parked my JT in the driveway overnight, instead of in the garage like I always do. I came out the next morning and noticed the damn tree had dropped sap ALL over driver side and hood. Before I went to the store to pick up chemicals, I tried a bunch of stuff from around the...
  20. Received new meats for the Gladiator. Falken Rubitreks

I weighed mine, they come out to 51 pounds real life weight.
