Ouray Day 2. Decided to run Black Bear Pass & Imogene Pass. Both iconic trails with spectacular views! I will let the photos tell the story! Yes that is a Moose on the trail.

Was Imogene open all the way through?

We were there about a month ago and they had the Telluride side closed.

Should of been repaired earlier this month if San Miguel kept to schedule. (They said late September for repairs earlier this year.)

Glad to see Black Bear is still open... been closed every time I've been out there but I'm planning to stop to tick it off the list on Friday on my way to Moab

Trail Jesus still on the Black Bear sign! It was there week before last. I didn't escape without a kiss on the rear passenger flare from the rock on the first switchback.

No idea, it was already there when we hit the trail. It snowed a foot on Black Bear 2 days after we went. It'll change daily until it closes for the season.

I lucked out with the weather. It was beautiful most of the time. On Imogene pass the temps dropped and we had rain, sleet, & snow.

We were out there in August before I bought my Mojave. It’s been on my bucket list for a long time. Here’s a pic of my 2004 rubicon on Black Bear.
