Finding this measure online has been near impossible. Anyone with 35/37 x 11.5's can you please grab a tape measure and get me a tread width????

Nitto trail Grappler M/T's 315/70R17 ie. 35x11.5 mounted on stock wheels, 10.25" tread width, kind of-the side lugs will come in and add 1/4" every other alternating lug.-if that makes sense. If you count both side's side lugs then 10.75".
From that 10.25" measurement, there is 1 inch sidewall bulge /side. So, stock wheel ≈37 psi, overall width 12.25" bulge to bulge.

Falken 37x12.50r17 m/t are a narrower tread width at 10”. So much for the 11.5’s but nittos always look to run fat on tread width.

NO WAY 315/70R17 IS EVEN CLOSE TO 11.5
THAT SIZE WOULD BE 34X12.50

I'm interested in this subject, too. I have 17 x 10" wheels, and will be looking for 11-11.5" wide tires when my Nitto RG's wear out.

the 315 70r17 (35's) duratracs i had previously ran 10.5" on tread width, they spec same as 35-12.5

would like to see more 10.5 and 11.5 wide options (the 285's i believe running around 9" treadwidths and similar to what a 10.5" would be)

we need a pizza cutter revolution, i'm wanting 37x11.5 or 37x10.5 (9-10" treadwidths but 9-9.5" even better)

at least a couple more options in the 11.5" section widths available now

in 35" range the ultimate size available is the 285 75r18 imo...so tempting but already did 35's and found them too small appearance wise on gladiators, if i ran a wrangler or a half ton that'd be the size no question, need some skinnier 37's for gladiators

if they could make a 285 75r20 that would be 36.8" tall(i ran it in online calculator)....just like all the 37's are rated, man would i get excited about some mountain snowflake symbol tires in that size! call to manufacturers....285 75r20 please! they would run around 65 lbs each, I think the pickup truck market would be all over this also, tons of trucks with factory 20's that would level up for these (3/4 and 1 tons) and the 1/2 tons would need 4" lifts likely but there's a lot of 3/4 and 1 ton trucks rolling on 37's i'm sure they'd love the skinny options also to keep factory wheels and no rubbing, never mind enhanced ice traction that comes from added psi's to the ground of skinny tires vs fatties

that's a perfect width, just need options up to 37", a 285 75r20 (36.8" tall) would be the hot ticket for this cowboy ;), that size doesn't exist....yet, i'll pray to the tire gods, can only find some 285/295's that go up to 35.1" tall, much like the 285 75r18

Toyo has the Open Country AT3 in 35x11.5, but that’s as close as I can see.

Love that size! Wish a few more manufacturers would do a 35x11.50. To me it is the perfect balance of height and width. To each their own, but I like the "high and tight" look that keeps the wheels mostly within the wheel wells, and where the tires don't look too "balloonish".

Totally agree, handles better too, especially in wet and snow.
I do not understand the tires hanging out side the fenders look, looks bro dozer to me.

nitto has a couple 35x11.5 and they also have some 37x11.5, but as we find out their treadwidth runs fat, not a big enough difference imo, need more 285/295 options that get in the 37" range, so far the best you can get with the metrics 285/295's is 35.1" tall

tire manufacturers seem to be paying attention though as more 11.5's coming out, need more 285/295's now...3 peak mountain snowflake symbol please, psi for ice traction calls for skinny tires not fat tires....so making 285/295's pass whatever testing to get the snowflake rating will only be easier for the manufacturers by going narrower...those psi's to the ground go up, pizza cutters rejoice ;)
