I'm pretty sure this is correct.Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I BELIEVE it is unavailable on the Sport and Willys Sport, it is standard on the Overland/Mojave/Rubicon/HA and the rest it comes with the 8.4" radio option package.
That makes sense, I was in a 2021 Gladiator with the 7" Display and no power outlet. I am ordering mine with the 8.4" Display but it doesn't say if that is included, figures crossed! For the 21's I can confirm you need the 8.4 package on a Sport S trim to get it. Sorry not sure of the MY22s. Aftermarket here I come.
Can you post the brand / item you purchased please? The 120 volt inverter is a 400 watt non sinewave inverter. Most electronics recommend a pure sinewave inverter. I added a 1000 watt pure sinewave inverter for under $200 to my 20 Sport S it is a easy install and has way more power.
Just make sure you use big enough wire. Can you post the brand / item you purchased please?
That's the key word there. Available, not standard. A lot of options get labeled like that to try and trick people into thinking they get everything if they just but the base model. From the 2020 release notes " A 115-volt AC outlet is available to power select three-pronged home electronics."

Thanks. Also what was the inverter?Just make sure you use big enough wire.
200 watts at 12 volts is 16 amps.
If the inverter is going to be close to the battery under the hood, you could get by with 14 ga wire.
If its going to be in the truck, maybe under a seat, you would be better off using 12 or even 10 ga wire.
Something like this would work fine. It includes 8 AWG wire and a fuse as well as a bunch of stuff you won't need for $18.

I am out of state at this time, don't my JT with me at this time. The inverter is from West Marine. Easy install, removed the seat cut out the carpet. Mounted the inverter where the AC duct blows across the cooling fins. Wired to auxiliary switch. I used the same gage wire that was on the inverter pig tail. Can you post the brand / item you purchased please?
I didn't have any inverter in mind. I was just making suggestions on how to wire up a hypothetical 200 Watt inverter.Thanks. Also what was the inverter?
