Single tray no. Not sure about the double thoughDoes the 1Up block the back-up cam when its folded up?
Glad I found this! I actually have the 1up heavy duty double and was thinking about selling it to get the single plus an add on when needed. I was really hoping i could leave the single in the up position and still drop the tailgate, but oh well like you said low profile. The double is quite a pain bc I usually leave it down so I can see the backup camera but it's really deceiving backing up. I always feel like I'm about to hit something!I got my hands on a 1up Super Duty Bike Rack. It works very well with the gladiator. It’s close to the truck so I can still fit it in the garage with it on. And the tailgate folds down. I highly recommend it. They can be pricey, I was able to find one on CL.
The second pic shows it folded up. In that position the tailgate can’t drop all the way. But it doesn’t really matter because it’s so tight to the truck.

I have had the same one up bike rack for 10 years now. Never once worried about how secure my bike was. I have even been rear ended with it on my car and it's still rock solid. It's built like a tank.Sorry to resurrect a thread, but curious how you guys are getting along with the 1up in off-road scenarios? My old Thule XT gave up the ghost this weekend (it was 7+ years old and 10ks of miles with heavy bikes) on some forest roads. I don't plan on hardcore off-roading with the rack plus bikes, but given most of my adventures and "overland" plans will include me bringing a bike, I want a rack that won't rock like crazy over bumps.
The 1up has a ton of great review, but I have had friends not so thrilled with them in other situations, mostly around not securing larger bikes very well. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks! What size/style bikes do you have if you don't mind me asking?I have had the same one up bike rack for 10 years now. Never once worried about how secure my bike was. I have even been rear ended with it on my car and it's still rock solid. It's built like a tank.
I’ve got the 1-up quick rack double and it’s held up pretty well so far off road. Took it wheeling in some moderate trails the other week with my 29er mtb strapped In and had zero issues. 29” is about the max tire size they recommend I believe. Just picked up a rig’d tire carrier and extension for the the 1-up which raised the bike rack up another 6 inches or so. I have noticed it bounces around a bit more being attached to the rig’d swingout vs the oem hitch. No trail testing yet with the new set up, but seems pretty stout. Thanks!
