2020 Jeep Gladiator with Max Tow package need info on max weight I can tow and max hitch weight also

Recently bought a new 2023 Dutchmen Astoria 2203rb travel trailer and plan on using our Jeep Gladiator 2020 with max tow package to tow it. The weight of the trailer is 5762 and the hitch weight is 762, but I've seen lower numbers on the hitch weight also. I find that our Jeep can have 770 hitch weight. Is this something we need to be concerned about more the the weight of the trailer or the hitch weight? We don't plan on filling the camper up with heavy items and we will make sure our water tank is empty when traveling. We also have a TAZER installed and we are trying to figure out how to change the tow mode, if anyone on here knows how to do that please let us know. We bought the Jeep with the TAZER installed. 765lb max hitch weight per manual, if you are using a WDH and have everything leveled out and it's towing good, decision is yours.

It's cheap and quick to take it to a CAT scale if you have one near you for ultimate peace of mind to make sure all the axles are within acceptable loads.

We are using a weight distribution hitch. The hitch weight of the trailer is 730 and if our jeep max hitch weight is 765. Does that mean we can only put around 30 lbs inside the trailer?

We're unsure if our jeep in in tow mode. I know you can turn it on the off with the TAZER. We just want to make sure it's in tow mode when we are towing our trailer.

There is no “tow mode” on these. Just hook up and go.

Right, no such thing as tow mode. That's a thing of the past.
You can't go by advertised weights of the trailer, and you certainly can't go by any advertised tongue weight.
If you are wondering, you need to weigh the trailer. Any accessories or options or upgrades and you toss their factory numbers out the window.
Tongue weight is what's on the tongue - if you put 30 pounds in the trailer and put that 30 pounds in the rear of the trailer, you actually DECREASE tongue weight.
Weigh your trailer tongue - you can do this at home (google it), go to a coop scale, or here we can go to the local landfill and use their scale - weigh your trailer.

No tow mode that is user selectable. Jeep has stated in the past that the vehicle senses when the trailer wiring is hooked in and sense additional load. It then adjusts the transmission shift mapping patterns automatically to account for it.

Yeah, I put that in the other thread where it's asked how to change/switch tow mode with tazer.
The vehicle does that - it knows when there's a trailer connected, torque sensing and more.
Using a switch on the stalk, wheel or dash, or some other means is so yesterday.
It's all automatic in that is senses the connection and other factors.
