About to start trying to find best deal on Mojave here in KC area this week. Not a big difference between the 20 and 21, but haven’t seen discounts on 20 that are much greater than 21. What % off do you think I should be looking for on a 20? Found one dealer with one down in Springfield MO area with about 10k off. My only concern is the steering issue on the 20s.

The 2021 is supposed to be able to lock rear in 4WD high, you do get the new steering box, and you can get the optional selectrac AWD transfer case, it’s the reasons I waited for a 2021.....Jack

Depends what you are looking for and what price you can get I did a 2020 and got 7% below invoice and had no issues with steering but had it replaced anyways

Did you get 7% below MSRP or invoice?

There's multiple dealers that post in the forums here that sell at about 7% under invoice if you finance through them and have a tread lightly membership. Some of them will do even better on in stock Jeeps. And this is without negotiating at all.

I got ordered my Gladiator for 7% under invoice (plus taxes/tags/$300 processing). Also had to pay $100 for tread lightly membership 30 days before ordering it.

What does 7% below invoice calculate to as a % below MSRP? Mine was 18% below MSRP. Just trying to compare.

That varies depending on how many options your truck has and what trim level your truck is. The difference between MSRP and Invoice on options is about 11%. On a base sport the difference between MSRP and invoice is only 2%, Sport S is 2.5%, Overland/Rubicon/Mojave it is 5%.

I got a base sport with very few options, so basically I got the truck with the lowest % difference between MSRP and invoice.

When I bought my truck there was also $2000 manufacturer rebate. So my price broke down as follows:

MSRP 40,385
Invoice 39,236
7% off Invoice 36,389.48
$2000 of due to manufacturer rebate 34,489.48
That works out to 15.6% off MSRP and 12.1% off Invoice.

If there had not been a $2000 manufacturer rebate it would have been 9.7% off MSRP and 7% off Invoice. On a Rubicon with a bunch of options 7% off invoice would be closer to 15 %off MSRP.
