Hello everyone! I am new to the Gladiator family but not to the Jeep family. I recently got my hands on a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon 6 speed and I am a kid once again. I love this Jeep BUT I am having a small issue regarding my MPGs. I know MPGs on my previous Wranglers have always sucked but I am curious to know if anyone else out there is having the same issue as I am. I've been averaging 15.4 MPG and I have 1,482 miles on the clock. I have driven it for just a month and I don't drive it like I stole it. I live in Bakersfield, California. My Jeep is bone stock and I don't have any accessories creating more weight. Do the MPGs get better as I clock more miles into my Glad? Thank you so much for your help.

I have the exact same JTR (I have some mods now) but discovered that the MPGs DO improve after break-in period. I noticed an increase at about 6K miles, but that said, I'm only averaging 17 MPG. You'll hear folks on this forum talk about high teens/low twenties but I'm not sure how they're getting those results. The big thing I've done is add 35's but I don't think that should be a hinderance of 5-7 mpg. Oh well, I love my JTR and wouldn't have it any other way.

I've got a Max Tow and with my quick driving in the city I'm averaging 15.4.

What is your mix of driving? Above 70mph? Tons of city? High speeds and idling kills mileage like nothing else.

However, as time passes and the engine breaks in, it should theoretically improve.

Thank you so much everyone for chiming in. I really appreciate your help. My driving is mainly city driving, occasional freeway/highway driving. I do use the auto stop function though and I do have the tow package. My city isn't too hilly but winter time brings in some gnarly winds.

It'll increase a bit as it breaks in. Similar setup here, and I was getting just over 18 in the summer. Now that it's colder out, I'm getting 17.2. On 35s now, but they aren't any heavier than your 33s. It's a jeep though. It might make a big psychological difference, but 15.4 mpg to 17 or 18 isn't going to make much difference on your wallet.
