I've read in multiple places that 2021 models are to be available "spring of 2020"..... wondering if I should hold out for 2021 model or settle for a 2020 that is not my preferred colour, trim etc..... In my area there are plenty of 2020 Rubicons and only a few Overlands (my preference)....plus the Overlands left are pretty much just black, cloth seats .....not what I really want. If I am spending that much $$, I want what I want. Any ideas when 2021 Gladiators arrive?

The latest on the 2021's is that changeover to the new model, primarily the Mojave model changes have been postponed until 3rd quarter 2020. They are/we're still taking orders for 2020s as of mid-April and just started getting production back moving. They will have to build the orders reserved and any dealer obligations to a point before moving to the next year's model.

Basically, don't expect a 2021 on a dealers lot until maybe September, but I have a feeling it won't be until November.

With the corona problems, traditional model year change-over times may not apply, as noted above. The Gladiator was introduced before the usual late June-early July time frame, but as a 2020, not as a 2019.5. Now the 2021 could be early or late vs. the usual timeframe. The 2013 Ram HD came out late, in 2013 because Chrysler and Cummins continued the 2012 emissions to the end of 2012 as allowed by EPA. Then, they cut off 2013s and moved to the 2014 model year at the usual time, late June-early July.
