Thank you for your contributions i took away many things and much thanks and will see you when you get back LOL
Thanks. I may buy another Jeep one day, but it will be much more analog and likely have the near bulletproof 4.0.

Yeah, I’ve seen that one. Not impressed. Seems pretty dead there plus the software running the forum is crap. Maybe the Chevy guys are not big into mods. <shrug>
I t seems to be mostly wheel spacers and high negative offset wheels 😂

A few did get a kick out my wheel design meme.
Others said they can't see anything else every time they look at their wheels now.

Nice looking truck!

I was a Chevy guy (and still am) before I ever owned a Jeep. I love my Gladiator but after two years we have done very little 'Jeep' things but constantly doing every day life things. To be fair, I knew that going in but I needed a truck then. Waiting wasn't an option and the Gladiator really was the best choice at the time.

I often build and price a new Colorado Z71 as I'd love a nicer riding and driving truck with cooled leather seats for the same price I paid for my Sport...

But I digress.

Sterling Grey Metallic Z71 WOULD look nice next to my silver SS Camaro though.

Amen brother!! I miss that 4.0 that I had in my 80's and 90's Jeeps. My Cherokee had 250k miles on it and never had one issue with the engine. I used to joke that it had enough torque to climb up a tree; the only problem was figuring out how to get back down!!!

Cheers and enjoy the new ride.

What engine did you get in you GMC? How do you like it?

I was looking at a new truck to replace my Duramax. The wife saw some my search material that I printed and came home with a Tahoe. I got the 6.2 as I thought the issue was resolved. Well, maybe not. Only time will tell. I hope you are enjoying your GMC.

So far the engine has been flawless, but I just did my 15,000 mile oil change. So it's not a lot of miles yet.
Overall the truck has been good.
It handles great, has plenty of power, rides and drives great.

Here's some info I posted as a comment on TFL's video about the truck. Mostly because they didn't cover a lot of it.

I have the 24 Denali. Overall I have been satisfied with it.

There were some initial issues.

* It had the headlight flicker, which was finally elevated to a recall and addressed. You won't see that after mid 24, and any used trucks should have already been fixed.

* The blend door motor was extremely noisy, but the dealer replaced it under warranty. That's a full dash tear out, and they did scuff my speaker grille and a place or two on the dash. Those were also repaired.

* The paint on these trucks is notorious for having flaws and trash in them. If you're buying one, go over it very carefully in good lighting before leaving the lot.

* My truck was delivered with the driver's side rear marker light not connected. I discovered that a few days after delivery. Since the dealer was 1.5 hours away, I chose to fix it myself. The wire was left pinched behind the fender liner and it could not reach the connector. A blatant "Not my job" fault that got moved on down the line with no stoppage.

* The infotainment systems have been notoriously glitchy, but they are getting better through OTA updates. Better stability and fewer blank screens now.

* There have been fairly widespread issues reported with coolant leaks, either from the top radiator hose or the heater hoses. They employ a locking O ring mechanism, rather than traditional clamps. You can buy o rings on Amazon, etc. and DIY the fix, or let the dealer do it and take several days. Some have even cut the mechanical connectors off and put hose clamps on them.

* Some early models without sunroof had oil canning problems under the blowers in car washes. There was a TSB on that and dealers installed reinforcements in the roofs.

* There's no power sliding rear window option.

* Mine didn't come with Homelink. Not sure about the current models. I installed a mirror with Homelink from Bob's Mirrors. They really should come with them for the sticker price.

* There's no behind the rear seat storage and they do not fold down. There is some under seat storage in the rear.

* The tailgate storage is not waterproof or dust proof. That doesn't matter to me, but it bothers some people.

My 15,000 mile average is 21.4 MPG I installed the BAK X4S Tonneau, Go Rhino Mud guards, and Go Rhino E1 Power Steps from RealTruck.
All were reasonably easy to install at home in the garage. I also installed hood struts from Redline.

I like the interior, ride comfort, cooled and heated seats, and the overall feel. I'd like it to actually be quieter on the exhaust, because it sounds "pooty" to me.
They are big cylinders, but it's still just four of them.

The power is more than enough. It's governed to 98 MPH max, and it gets there from 55 in a hurry.

I drove the Tacoma TRD Pro and the Ranger Raptor when I was shopping, and I found the Canyon to be best overall on power, comfort, finish, and feel.

The truck is reasonably easy to service. I do my own oil changes and rotations and it's simple and straightforward.

We've had the Tahoe for a month now. The only complaint so far is driving with a window down. I ended up getting the factory rubber floor mats for my Tahoe. It is a High Country so it has most every option. People complain about the homelink icon on the infotainment screen. I have not had an issue. When I get close to home the icon appears. The garage door will auto close when I pull away.

With the 6.2l, i may end up doing my first oil change at 1k miles. I'll send in a sample. My next oil change will be at 5k.

The 6.2l liter has DFM. It stumbles a bit during the transition sometimes. I decided to get a disabler module. The older AFMs were notorious for a lifter to collaspe.

I will keep my Duramax for a few more years if the cp4 holds up.
The Gladiator is now the daily Driver. It will still be used to go off road, but to be honest, we haven't done much of that this past year. I don't see this year being much different. My wife has been busy working again.

Supposedly this product helps the injection pumps live (added lubrication) though I imagine most of the claims are anecdotal. Have not researched it much.

I get the itch to offload a couple things and get a 3/4 ton Duramax on occasion. I could use that just as much as anything else I've owned.

Waiting to move and let life settle back in and see what my wants / needs are then.

Seems like Jeep ownership for me - no crazy problems, just little annoyances along the way. Glad you like the new ride. Denali's are sharp.
