Hi guys,
Took the 2022 Gldiator into some deep muddy water (about 800mm deep).
No problems until after I washed it, a little bit on the way home, and got into it more with my gernie the next day.
After second wash at home, as soon as I started up the car, the check engine light came on and the vehicle wouldn't drive in reverse.
I turned it off, started up again and it drove.
I plugged in my odb reader and the error code says the gear selector solenoid is malfunctioning.
I reset the error codes and basically it intermittently throws this error each time I start the car when cold...but not necessarily when it's warm.
Sometimes the jeep will reset the error itself after a few starts and the check engine light goes away.
So my main concern is the whining noise coming from the transmission...its not a noise I've heard before and the car has 34,000km on it and I purchased it new.
