30 more days and I still don't have my truck back. I keep getting the run around by the service center and @JeepCares.
I was told someone from jeep cares would contact me and not one person has. Service department said it would be done June 30th. Here it is July 7th and I had to call them to get a status.
Uconnect vehicle locator showed no movement of truck until Tuesday. Im done with this crap. Filing the lemon law suit tomorrow.
2 months is beyond ridiculous. At this point Its been down longer than I was able to drive it.
Thanks for tagging us.

Looks like we updated your case notes earlier this week. If you need our team to add any more details, send us a private message and we can do that.

So I finally got the call about 2 hours ago that I can finally pick up my Gladiator. Less than 12 hours before we start our 3 week vacation on the road. They said they drove 19 miles and no issues. Said the transmisson was 2 1/2 quarts low and the harness was fixed. Take it for a test drive and its driving great! Until I hit a pot hole! It shut off and ground to a stop then restarted. The security light started flashing non stop. I shut it down for a minute and it started up. Drove the crap right back to the service department. Transmission started sounding and shifting like absolute garbage. Tech pulled code and only thing showed was a bcm security module error. Im over it!

Hate to say it. But sounds like u lucked out on a lemon. Hopefully doesn't completely deter u from glads, or jeep as a whole. But I think there's a serious quality control issue at least at the Gladiator plant. Don't kno if it's human or machine error. I've been without mine for 5.5 months now, partially my fault, but mostly incompetence at the dealer level, and what I tried proving as faulty parts from factory. Enjoy ur trip at least, and good luck.

Appreciate it! I own this lemon JT, 2 JKs and TJ. Absolutely love them even though they are a pain in my butt. This gladiator is the worst vehicle I have ever owned so far and I drove a chevy citation in high school! No way I can trust this Gladiator with my family in it. I was so hoping to tow this thing behind the rv for the next 3 weeks. About the hook up the trusty Rubi I guess.

there is a noted TSB about checking the wiring harness on the passenger side that run just past the EGR flange. There is a stainless steel gasket tab that projects from the flange and gets very close if not touching the wiring harness at the point. People have observed chafed and raw wires at the contact point.

It has been discussed in this forum a lot, do a search for "EGR flange"
Just what I was thinking.

It ended up being a bad ecm harness. They took 2 months to fix it. It was in repair for 3 months total out of 10 months ownership and I filed a lemon law petition. Jeep responded and accepted the buy back. They refunded me everything except for the tint and bedliner. They replaced the transmission, both harnesses, speed sensors, ecm and tcm. I lost the receipt for my wheels and tire and side steps so I had to eat those and sell on my own.

I’m not surprised to hear that it’s the ECM Harness and not the trans itself.
One of the perks of buying the diesel is that you get a transmission that was built by ZF in Germany and shipped here (complete), as opposed to the gasser that gets a ZF transmission built under license by stellantis in the US.
