Highly doubt it.

a) Perspective is skewed (look at the valve stem, center cap, and fact that the right side of the tire appears larger than the left for reference) - my phone camera sucks at times
b) I already have 40x13.50r17 tires (same size) on it and do not rub even under full articulation. 4.5" lift and fender chop. Tons of room and lots of time put in to eliminate rubbing.

They are kind of a pain to assemble, but everything can be done in the field and parts are easy to come by. Valve stems are 1/8" NPT bolt in. Hardware is all 1/2-20. Drilled the "double beadlock" in the photo and bolted the TPMS into it. I'm putting a pound of balance beads in each but will probably get them RoadForce balanced later. You can do both (IME) and they play well together. I didn't have time to wait for powdercoat so I painted them with wheel paint, which at least means easy touch ups.

Both at 28 PSI on 17x9 wheels. Toyo MT on the left, Maxxis RAZR MT on the right. Both 40x13.50R17. Toyo is about half an inch taller mounted.

Assembled and mounted on the Jeep. A pound of beads per wheel is barely enough, if enough, but it runs down the road well enough for now. Going to have to figure out who around here can static balance them in the next few days.

Very nice build! Should suit all your needs. I have an ancillary question for you. I too have the Maxxis Rzr tires but I have the ATs. What made you decide on MTs? Just curious your thought process on it bc I went left MTs on purpose and sometimes wonder if necessary? I'm assuming if your wife follows the RV in the Jeep (I didn't see that you tow? Maybe you do) isn't that a lot of highway miles?

I run MTs and have for several years, except for a small stint with 37" AT4Ws where I quickly realized that MTs are better aligned with my usage. I wanted the AT4W to work out because I wanted a 3PMSF tire.

That said, I do not recommend MTs unless you have a frequent use case for them.

We've been towing the Power Wagon behind the motorhome, now moving to towing the Jeep.

Wow, nice build. Could be my rig's twin!

I like your standardization of all rigs' on diesel (RV, Jeep, RV heater, ... toilet waste incinerator!?! Holy Crap! ) ... makes for very versatile spare fuel planning!

How is your bestop liner working out? I've had the bestop on my rig for 2-3 years now... probably my favorite add... but just this year after adding a fairing and rack on the rear of the roof (see pic), I'm getting some flapping at high speeds (70+)... concentrated on the center of the rear rib. Wondering if the liner might help mitigate that?

What shocks are you running (I'm guessing they were on the build when you bought it)?

... before fairing install, which fits right behind the opened bestop

Thanks. Yeah, I try to standardize where possible. The liner works great and makes for a substantial decrease in wind/road noise. I'm not sure how much it would help that particular issue, but I'd recommend it regardless. I'm actually considering something like that half rack so I can get rid of the 18" high Yakima box and replace it with a few 10-12" high boxes, but not sure if it's worth the cost and headache.

Shocks are the Dobinson MRRs, which are pretty comparable IMO to the Fox 2.5 Elites I ran on my Power Wagon. That said, I see a set of custom valved E-Cliks in the near future because I'm looking to get a little more out of them with less effort.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll checkout that bestop headliner.

My rack system is from Sherpa. The half rack and size of my rack on the shell are not standard items of theirs, but I visited them during Overland Expo Mountain in Loveland (Sherpa is in nearby Berthoud), they measured my rig, and I purchased all the parts from them.. out of what they normally make for their other rigs. E.g. the cab rack they normally sell both as front and back, and the my back rack is a sort-of tweener width in order to provide clearance for the smart-cap gull wings, but they had the right size components...no custom fab... just repackaged what they already make and it fits great.

Re: E-Cliks, contact @CrazyCooter . He has lots of experience with both E-licks and Fox, and has tuned both for gladiators.
