I have a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Willys Sport with the tow package and i want to replace tire with larger ones. I am thinking 33-12.50-17. I have a level kit and 2 inch spacers on now. Does anyone know if the stock rim width will fit or cause problems with a tire size listed above.

You'll have absolutely no issue fitting those tires.

A 2" level would allow you to clear 35's on those wheels as well.

You mention 33x12.5 size in your first post. Did you mean 35x12.50's?

Reason I ask, is that most tire makers for a 33x12.50x17 tire recommend a minimum 8.5'' width rim when the stock OEM rims are 7.5".

35x12.50x17 tire, most tire makers say you can get away with a 7.5" width minimum rim

Interesting, I just looked it up and you're correct.

Guess I've run 33x12.5 tires on many a wheel "too small". I've never had an issue, doesn't make it right, but all of those tires have functioned properly and got great mileage out of them.

A couple local lads are running 35x12.5 on their oem 7.5 wheels as well and they've put some good miles on theirs as well

I've done the Teraflex leveling kit and upgraded to Bilstein shocks. Then went with a Toyo AT3 35*11.5/17 and have had no issues. I changed the wheels only because I wanted a different look.
