Hello everyone! New to the forums but have been keeping an eye on it prior to making an account.
Just wanted to post on here to confirm a few things that have seemed to be back and forth regarding tire sizes and the Willy’s gladiator. Personally,
I am another person that was able to fit AT3 35”s on the stock Jeep rim with no lift . Although I do plan to get a lift kit asap. No rubbing noted unless I turn my tires all the way to the right very very minimal touching.

Also tested out the stock scissor jack whether it can accommodate jacking up the 35” tire and it did good !
just wanted to come on here for anyone who was like myself wondering these questions and kept seeing mixed reviews. Also being said, the spare wheel well as mentioned in many other post can accommodate 35” spare tire as long as your using the stock spare rims.

Have a similar setup but had a TerraFlex leveling done as well. No rubbing and those AT3's are so much better than the OEM Firestone's.

35s will fit any model on flat ground. That's not really up for debate, i believe most people know that. I believe the general consensus is as follows for maximum tire size on non-lifted or leveled JTs:

33s for offroad non-rubijaves
35s for offroad rubijaves, or street-only non-rubijaves
37s for street-only rubijaves

@Cloud9sb did you have to use wheel spacers with the stock wheels? Planning on going 35s as well.

Wide tires on narrow wheels is sometimes referred to as a "poor man's beadlock" because the narrower wheel holds the bead better than a wider wheel.

FYI.. spare well will hold a Toyo 35 - 11.50 on American Racing Legends too .. these have 1 more inch of off set and consider the AEV Jack Base - improves stability.

I was told that a wide tire on a narrow wheel will actually pop the bead quicker when aired down due to the angle of the sidewall on the bead being greater.
A true rubbing test is lock to lock steering when fully flexed.

Hey brotha, what are the measurements of your rims? And any rubbing noted? I’d rather get new rims than space them out to be honest

They’re 17x9 with a -6 offset. They come in gunmetal, black, and a chrome look. I don’t have any rubbing at all. These are the gunmetal

It won’t. Whoever told you that doesn’t have experience airing down and/or mounting tires.
