Is it worth upgrading steering with factory axles? Worth putting lockers on factory axles.
Installing 4.5 kit this weekend
I wouldnt put it past me on wheeling tough trails... lolThe can of worms has been opened!!
do you see yourself wheeling tough trails?
A regear is nice too, since larger tires now.
Also if you see yourself wheeling a lot, steering is a nice upgrade too.
Excited to see the after pics and hear your thoughts on install.

Its going to be a daily driver but want
to go off roading when i want as well. Firm believer in upgrading what i need now/get a game plan.
30" to bottom of front door at front edge and 31" at bottom of rear door at rear edge. 3.5" lift and 37s. I have added a 1.5" Terraflex spacer to the rear since that picture was taken though.Does anyone have a measurement from ground to bottom of cab with 4.5 lift kit on 37s ?
Good looking rig. Do u have a side view? What shocks are u running?30" to bottom of front door at front edge and 31" at bottom of rear door at rear edge. 3.5" lift and 37s. I have added a 1.5" Terraflex spacer to the rear since that picture was taken though.

Thanks! They're the stock Mojave shocks with shock extensions.Good looking rig. Do u have a side view? What shocks are u running?
I'm sure they will be. The Mojave shocks are surprisingly good, but they're no Kings. I looked at replacing them and could not justify spending $4000 for shocks. I've got less than $2000 in my lift, and that's with all 8 control arms and both track bars. I will be replacing the stock shocks when they wear out. I just hit 4k miles on my Gladiator, so it's going to be a long time.Sexy! Ya i am hoping this 4.5 kit with kings 2.5s ,control arms, track bars, etc is awesome!
Is that dana 60 front and rear?
I was curious about getting steering now.... but will it fit bigger axles or do i need to get different steering down the line. Dont want to waste moneyIdeally yes. And 8 lug wheels.... another expense.
Some will run a 44/60 combo.
On our JL that is light (no junk inside), we run a 44/60 on 40's...
And we just had to upgrade the steering actually. The Hammer trails are tough on rigs.
