Purchased a 2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave back in March and just noticed the hood is not aligned perfect. The driver side seems to align perfect as it slopes down to the fender. The passenger side overhangs the fender about 1/8 inch. There is also a slightly larger gap on the passenger side compared to driver along the back edge. Maybe this is just normal as it is probably difficult to get that larger Mojave hood perfectly aligned. If it can be improved my biggest concern would be that the hinge bolts would have to be loosened probably resulting in paint being chipped off leading to rust issues that Jeeps are notorious for. See photos below.

Wouldn't worry, unless you want a body shop to look at it. You'll find worse things after off-roading.

Attached is the +/- body gap dimensions. Your decision if it is worth the hassle.

Me personally, I would leave it alone.

Well, on the positive side, that hood is steel and actually would rust - while other Jeeps don't have rust issues because they are aluminum.
So if it happened, you'd truly have a Jeep with rust issues - a first.

Once the trail damage (kisses) happen you will never notice any panel gap inconsistencies. It’s not worth a bodyshop unbolting painted bolts to make adjustments. Good looking truck!!!!!

You’re in the Mojave Clan now , jump that truck that will straighten everything out!
I hate to agree with “it’s a Jeep thing” but loosening the bolts up does make you head to a body shop for a touch up. Perhaps stop at a shop and see if they can adjust stops or latch without loosening bolts…Jack

Thank you for all your input. I’ll probably just leave it alone however will be checking every Mojave I run into just to see how mine compares.

Panel Alignment is one standard I have lowered considerably, after owing a Tesla. A 1/8” gap? That’s near perfection, compared to Tesla’s build quality.

Never bothered to check mine. But if that concerns you I wouldn’t stare too hard at the bed-cab gap. ;)
Don't compare left and right sides........ my 2020 was perfect, alignment of the bed couldn't have been better, left and right matched and so on.

the 2022 was a bit worse.

I've tried to not look at my 25.

I agree it's a stretch to blanket all Jeeps as "notorious" for rust, but the TJ is very susceptible to frame rot in road salt areas.

I should have clarified...Gladiator.
