I am sorry if I am touching a subject that has already been discussed, but I cannot seem to find it with the search button.
I live just outside of Washington, D.C., in Virginia. I bought my Willys Gladiator in August 2024. Two months after that, a friend sold me his 2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Diesel Suspension because I am saving for a Clayton Lift. I have 35x12.5x17 wheels and tires (purchased 6 months before my 2012 JKU pooped the bed). I would like to put these wheels and tires on my Gladiator, but I am worried about the 3.73 gears. Eventually I will go to 4.56 gears, but will I damage the engine/transmission with 35's on it until I make that gear change (hopefully within a year). Or should I stick with the Firestone Destination MT's 255-75-17's until I make the gear change?
I had an AEV ProCal Snap installed for changes to tire size, gear changes and tire pressure.
Thank you for your assistance!
