2025 Gladiator towing

Increasing the towing capacity through a redesign of the fundamental structure of the truck would also bump it up to the official 1/2 ton full-size class, and out of the mid-size class.

Making it compete with the Ram trucks, and making it less good for off-roading and flexing.
It can't be a Jeep and be a full size truck while maintaining the attributes that makes it attractive to Jeep people.
If you need a truck to tow over that 6,000-7,000 - buy a Ram.

I have a cousin who is good friends with a dude who's barber cuts hair for one the the lead engineers sons at stellantis. He said he heard that stellantis was bringing back the hemi and they were going to put it in the Gladiator to be a generator for a 2 motor ev gladiator. So you can plug it in or gas it up but the hemi charges the batteries. I don't know how true this is but it seems plausible given the times we are living in.

Forget this, what about the 2026 Gladiator's towing? Is it going to be enough to cause many to trade to the new one? Surely it's going to be more fun to drive!
