Alright y’all buckle up; it’s a long one.
I recently had new LED Mopar headlights kit, front turn signals, tail lights, and fog lights housing installed by a reputable third party company on my 2025 Jeep Gladiator Nighthawk. Original halogen packaging (The part #s are the Sku#s there in the picture attached.)
The people who installed it said all works except I need to take it to a local dealership to get the system reprogrammed to LED. It’s a MUST even according to mopars site. Needs codes LPY and LPX. After my second trip to the dealership, Dealership said they can’t install the code LPY??
Here are my two issues: 1. front turn signals don’t consistently work (see video) and the car thinks there’s a “front turn signal light bulb out.” And no halos are present.
dealership wants me to come out a 3rd time to physically look at all the wiring and open it back up again… but before that I would like to resolve this without too many hands in the pot.
I’m ordering a OBD2 and cable and using a jscan app myself Sunday
any ideas or help?
Do I take it to another dealership for a second opinion on programming?? Do I just put back in the original halogen front turn signals and switch out the bulb to LED compatible bulbs at the end of the day??
This is a nightmare
