About to pull the trigger on a 2025 Mojave X that has some extras. MSRP is $65,745. Got them OTD at $59,200

Not as steep as the ‘24 deals but curious if anyone that’s purchased similarly has some insights. I have been looking through the posts but haven’t seen anything super recent on the ‘25s.
seems like a real good value to me depending on the tax you are paying. How much tax does that include?

If the dealers are on a tight leash, I wonder what is going to happen with the tariffs? The Gladiator seems to be about 70% USA. So, a 45K Gladiator would have a $3,375 price increase with a 25% tariff on 30% of the vehicle.
I have a feeling they are going to levelize those cost increases across the models regardless of their composition makeup.

Does that mean that you got a 66K JT Rubicon for about 38K prior to tax and license? That is a massive 42% discount before tax and license. Congratulations, that is the best deal I have heard of on a 2024.
It's actually about 38% below MSRP. The selling price (before tax, tags and registration) was slightly over 41k plus 6% tax at about 2.5k and several hundred for tag and registration. I had just sold my Dodge Durango the week before so I had a tag to transfer which saved a few hundred dollars since in Florida it is just considered a transfer. Then just the registration fee which is basically the amount you pay annually. But even at 38%, I did get a good deal partially because the dealership was in the process of being sold, it was the only Rubicon (or Mojave) they had on the lot that qualified for the 20% factory discount plus it was right at the end of the month and they were doing anything they could to sell the vehicle.

Sounds like a good deal / purchase.

Although I am confused by what extras one gets with the X. I thought that the "X" on the Rubi or Mo was 35" tires and 4.88 gears in the axles to compensate for tire diameter. As well as the Select Trac T case with Auto 4H, steel bumpers and interior amenities. I went to Jeep's website and can't find anything about 35's and R&P geared higher than 4 tens on the X.

Edit: And I always shop OTD price. I have done that since the 1980's.

When I bought my wife's BMW at lease end, they gave me a MSRP. (Which was about $26,500... before tax, lic, etc). And I gave my dealer my OTD price. (Which was 25K flat). They said that they couldn't do it. I said that I would walk away. No harm. No foul. 4 hours later I bought the BMW for my OTD price. And a few free cups of coffee.

We just purchased our 2025 Mojave X yesterday (Sunday). It has every option (dealer ordered - but pretty much how we would have ordered it. In '41 green too). We got around $11k off msrp, however the dealer installed a LoJac and security stickers to the tune of about $1600, so our deal once we got down to numbers was pretty close to yours. Don't get me started on the practice of dealer 3rd party add-ons, but they make money by doing it, so I understand why, I just wish it was actual value-add, not stuff where my personal data will be sold to my insurance company - no thanks. Anyway, they removed the Lojac, but I still paid for it.

Long story short, it sounds like you're getting a solid deal as long as it's the configuration you want and you're not compromising on options to get the deal.

I find it interesting that prior to the 2024 model year, Gladiator engines were made in Mexico. I checked as many window stickers as I could for the 24s last year when I was looking around back then and they all said transmission and engine were USA. The 2025s I've checked out say the same thing.

4.88 gears and 35" tires are not options or part of option packages for the Gladiator.

X package doesn't change a thing with tires or gear ratio.
It bundles the safety package, tech package, steel bumpers, power seats, body color roof and fender flares, SelecTrac, MOPAR headliner and seems to me one or two other things I can't recall.

They still have the same tires and 4.10 ratio of the other non-X packages.

The SF Bay area has cities with sales tax well over 9% (State plus local taxes are combined) and in California all trucks are registered as commercial vehicles at a much higher rate. So, it really isn't a fair comparison. Also, the registration and sales tax have nothing to do with the window sticker or the dealer. I always negotiate off the window sticker without tax and registration and found this forum a great asset during the process because folks posted discounts prior to tax and registration. So, it was a true apples to apples comparison without variables by State and/or City. It was very beneficial knowing the deals others got....

I don't disagree with negotiating a out the door price. Obviously, it worked for you with the largest discount I have seen on a 2024. I'm just saying that it is more helpful for me as a forum member to keep the dealer separate from the State fees...

YMMV
I now see how in some States how you can negotiate off the window sticker (MSRP) instead of the OTD price. Here in Florida, other than the sales tax, it can get very confusing on what is required by the State and what the dealer is adding on. You will see lines for Documentation Fees, License Fees, Transfer Fees, Private Tag Agency Fees, etc. There will always be disclaimers that this or that fee "includes both costs and profits" or some other legal wording. And if you question the "dealer fee" line, most dealers will say they have to include it in the contract or possibly get sued by someone who did not pay the fee. I simply respond, "If the dealer fee is not negotiable, just take it off the price since that is negotiable." The sales hole will get silent.

I believe the leather power seats are standard on the X. My Rubicon (standard) was pretty much optioned out except for the power leather seats. The X may also have the 120volt plug standard which I don't think mine has. Now that I think about it, I will go look and try to find it.

Yes, that's what I said - the power leather seats are part of the X package.

So they bundle the tech, safety, steel bumpers, POWER SEATS, "cold weather package" as it used to be called (is now part of the convenience group - which is part of the X package)

The 120 volt plug in the back of the console is standard on Rubicon and Mojave, including non-X packages. I believe it's always been part of the Rubicon and Mojave levels.

X package doesn't include the 115 volt outlet in the bed - that's another optional package.

Wow…where’d you hear that? My 2024 Mojave X came with 33’s and 4.10’s.
If it was available with 35’s, I probably would’ve bought it!! Same with the V8…I would’ve bought that too! 😆
