I can't think of a reason (other than "possibly" pleasing one customer) why a dealer would want to begin tweaking anything beyond what is standard, defined, documented and repeatable when it comes to repairs. If they start messing outside of the Stellantis comfort zone, even if it works and performs as good or better than the OE stuff, then they will "own" the modification. If something goes wrong, it's back on them. Take it to another dealer later, and they will point you back to the original dealer. Think about some kid who just learned how to shave working on your Jeep; he reads the manual, sees the specs, hopefully does what the manual says to do, and that is the end of the conversation.

The dealer will not be here on the forum looking for solutions like we do. With most dealers, when it comes to modifications, they take the approach of "you break it, you bought it.
"Tunes", flashes and so on, are based on the vehicle's VIN. If there was a change, and in the future there was any sort of recall or flash needed, you'd really be screwed.

It's also an emissions bit that they are hands-tied for some changes.
No dealer can cause TPMS to not function, cause that 3rd brake light to not function, or make modifications that are contrary to the emissions rules in place at time of manufacture.

Well today I heard a good story seems the place I bought mine a guys BIL bought one and had come to first oil change brought it in they tell him it needs an alignment . So he says go ahead well guess it gave it death wobble. Try as they might they could not get it to come out. They put him over in a new willys and even lowered his payments and sent the truck off to Chrysler to be trouble shot as to what was amiss.

True but I didn't know till recently that if you install tires without sensors then drive around for 20 min. It will go to 4 blank lines . And essentially shut off and not monitor as there is nothing to monitor

What the heck could they possibly do at a dealership?
Toe and steering wheel centering is ALL a dealership can do.
So either they screwed toe up so very badly......... or they broke something.

I've also never had one say "you need an alignment" on any Jeep we've ever owned, ZJ, WJ, WK2, JT, JL, whatever. That would shock me to have the dealer say "you need an alignment".

Supposedly when He came in for that first oil change they noticed unusual tire wear. That supposedly started the whole ball of wax.
