"Tunes", flashes and so on, are based on the vehicle's VIN. If there was a change, and in the future there was any sort of recall or flash needed, you'd really be screwed.I can't think of a reason (other than "possibly" pleasing one customer) why a dealer would want to begin tweaking anything beyond what is standard, defined, documented and repeatable when it comes to repairs. If they start messing outside of the Stellantis comfort zone, even if it works and performs as good or better than the OE stuff, then they will "own" the modification. If something goes wrong, it's back on them. Take it to another dealer later, and they will point you back to the original dealer. Think about some kid who just learned how to shave working on your Jeep; he reads the manual, sees the specs, hopefully does what the manual says to do, and that is the end of the conversation.
The dealer will not be here on the forum looking for solutions like we do. With most dealers, when it comes to modifications, they take the approach of "you break it, you bought it.
It's also an emissions bit that they are hands-tied for some changes.
No dealer can cause TPMS to not function, cause that 3rd brake light to not function, or make modifications that are contrary to the emissions rules in place at time of manufacture.
