Hello everyone!

New user here! Just got my 2021 Gladiator Overland last week. So far I am really enjoying it. A HUGE change coming from a lowered 2016 Lexus RC :)

I am in the process of wheel and tire shopping. I would really like to keep from lifting it but I want the wider stance look.

So my question is will this wheel/tire spec (20X10, 5X127, -18MM wheels / 33X11.50R20 tires) fit my Gladiator and not rub?

Thank you!

Female here, not too familiar with tire sizing, but I didn’t lift mine because I’m only 4”11 lol.. I have 33”Atlas Tires and 20” American Racing Rims. I have no rubbing.

I have the same colors and top. Getting some Rubicon take off rims, but that makes me want to go bigger. Looks great.

ANY trim level of a JT can run 33's on road with no rubbing. Off road may be a different story with flexing and stuffing happening.

I have heard of Sport(S) running 35's on the street with no issues.

Rubicons and Mojaves can run 35's with no rubbing on the street. There are people running 37's with no issues, again on the street.

You shouldn't have a problem. That's a significantly wider wheel by about 2.5", but you're also bumping the offset further away from the car by 62mm (right about 2.5"). The 33" isn't going to be much of an issue either.

So on overland models 275/70/18 shouldn’t be an issue even if you max out the payload?

I just got 285/70/17 (32.75) installed on my sport S and I do rub at full lock, on the front right bumper plastic (not the air dam as this have been removed). This is with an 8.5" wheel with 5.2" backspacing (Quadratic retro wheels).

I'm going to trim the plastic back this weekend.

Thanks!

I ended up going with Fuel 20X9, +1 offset wheels and 33X12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires.

I have
275/65R18
on my Overland. And I've more than maxed out payload. That was on the street and through my yard, not on a rocky trail in the Smokey Mountains.

Finally. After 6 weeks of waiting, my shoes have arrived! I did go with an -18 offset instead of +1. I wanted a little more poke. I love the look ?.
