Don't use a Sharpie, find a fabric marker. It'll be less likely to stain your hands or run if it gets wet.
Thanks

I have a couple of different options I'm going to pick up today from local craft shops.

I was going to reach out to them when I got my parts installed and let them know that I know they're working on it, but that I am looking forward to the release of the feature. That way they know they're not just trying to accommodate one or tow people's request and I'm not asking for something they're already working on.

I got the same email. My order is spread across three deliveries. The wheel took 7 days to deliver and the rest of the parts should be today and tomorrow.

The prices seem to have increased a lot since I ordered. Just the steering wheel is $100 more. The others are around $15 more each.
Those list prices are the same on my invoice ordered the week before.

This was mine from last week. Maybe its dealer vs online price difference.

Those prices are 13% below my wholesale cost. I didn't pay shipping so your end cost was 10% less than mine.

I now see why some people feel like us auto repair shops are screwing our clients when the internet sells to you under what we pay. I choose the local dealer to support local business, more reliable time line, and the ability to return the part easily.

After many trips to multiple arts and crafts stores, many failed tests and running out of places the trim would hide my test spots, I finally finished "dying" my threads. I ended up using this product https://www.hobbylobby.com/Wearable...bric-Markers/Red-DecoFabric-Marker/p/80986758 . It was fairly easy and only took about 30min, but I will likely have to go back and clean off some excess from between the threads.

The wheel before I started

I have been contemplating retrofitting the Mojave steering wheel for a while since it is much thicker. Additionally, I have wanted paddle shifters since first purchasing the Jeep to augment the tuned shift points for towing or other purposes. The paddle shifters are more to fulfill a habit than a necessity.

I was intrigued by the 392 wheel and shifters so I took the plunge. The paddle shifters should arrive next week but I have installed the steering wheel and new wiring harness. The clockspring connector had all of the necessary pins, so I hope the adaptation will be as simple as coding the option at this point.

The new steering wheel is awesome! The increased thickness is a major improvement. The button pockets on the rear of the steering wheel are shaped slightly differently than my factory wheel. I assume this is because the switch housing is larger. I will confirm this once the shifters arrive, if this is the case the non-392 wheel will not accept the paddle shifters. Other than the different switch pockets, I observed no other compatibility issues.

I have photos to help share the differences, I always feel like I should have taken more.

The part numbers I used are:

Paddle Shifters: I don't know if these are all I need yet, the parts diagrams are difficult to interpret.

Those switch cover part numbers don't work, more research to do.
