I know Mopar Extended Warranty is the way to go. In fact, we turned down the dealer's third-party warranty offer when buying our used 2023 Diesel Gladiator at a Ford dealership, just because we wanted Mopar. Now that I've been shopping for said Mopar warranty, I am not able to get it due to the fact that my Gladiator was "built for the Canadian Market". Yes, I knew it was from Canada when I bought it, but I had no idea that would cause any issues here in the States. I've had the truck for 3 weeks and really want to keep it. But the reason I chose this one was because it had low miles and still had the factory warranty. My paperwork says it comes with the 3/36k and 5/60k warranty, and the sticker says that warranty was fully transferable. I'm a bit worried if that will be true, though, if I should ever need it. I will be calling the dealership where I purchased this from to verify that the warranty will be honored here. And I have a call in to the local CDJR dealer for an extended warranty quote and to see if they'd honor my existing warranty contract.

I hate the thought of taking this jeep back to the dealer, and not even sure what that will end up costing me, as I know I won't get my full purchase price back. Plus I love this truck, and I sold my Jeep CRD already, so I will be without my car, but still have the hubbies. I gotta be honest, I'm panicking a little over here this weekend.

Regardless, I still want an extended warranty. Endurance Warranty is over 2x the price of a Mopar extended warranty. Are there any third-party warranty companies that are worth considering that I can compare to? Both in pricing and in deliverables? TIA

ETA: It is registered here in MI now and insured with Progressive. Those were non-issues, so this extended warranty thing was my 1st clue I might have a little problem.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I just picked up my new-to-me 2023 Mojave with 28k miles. I still have the 3/36 warranty but want something after that expires. The dealership, also a Ford dealership, offered one for 72/100k but it came out to ~$90/month for 72 months. My brother claims he knows someone that works at the local Jeep dealership that can get me a "Zurich" warranty for $2800 total.

I guess I don't really have anything to add other than that I'm in a similar situation. I'm still waiting on the dealership to get the title so I can finish the paperwork. I'm going to try to talk them down to $50/month. If they say no then I'll go with the one my brother says he can get me.

I just started the Endurance warranty. A great and trusted local shop owner said it was the best of the 3rd party ones. Haven't needed it yet. I am hoping to keep my Gladiator for a long time...

Is the Zurich the same 72/100k? A comparison chart from Consumer Affairs states Zurich's highest level does not cover the Turbo or fuel systems. That wouldn't work for me.

I'm at 17600 miles atm, and the Endurance Supreme 72/80k is $4145. I'd like to find something lower as their 30 month payment hurts the pocket book too much.

My wife's Tahoe's have all had Ally but even the dealership said that it's fine for Chevy's but not for any other brand. He said that they work with Chevy very well but not other brands. He recommended Endurance which I know nothing about. I went with @Zach@Granger from www.buymoparwarranty.com and have been very happy. He said that there were no plans for a price increase in May so I would consider acting before the EOM. He was half the price for the same warranty if I had bought it at the dealership. I think they do a volume business at something like $50 over cost.

It's funny (not haha funny) that I just saw this. I bought my '22 Gladiator Rubicon last August with 19,600 miles from a Chevy dealer and the understanding that it was still covered under the factory warranty. Well, the other day leaving work she just locked up on me and, not knowing what else to do had her towed on a flatbed to the local Jeep dealership. They called the following day and informed me that my truck had come from Canada and that the warranty was not honored in the US. I contacted the Chevy dealer but it's the weekend so we'll see how they deal with the situation.

Ren, reply back here to let us know how it goes. And I hope it goes well for you and your Rubicon. This is exactly what I am afraid of. I too will be calling the dealer I bought it from, 1st thing tomorrow.

Ah, where companies pay to be on the site, etc. - one of my least trusted places for information.

It's a theme that comes up now and then here - yours isn't the first post to state running into that. The "MOPAR" "Warranty" (which is really a service contract like they all are) covers vehicles made for destination to one of the U.S. states. I haven't done a search but do recall seeing at least 2 other posts with the exact same issue.

I can't recall the warranty company we had on a car several years ago - the vehicle was a Chrysler product, 3rd party warranty. 4 cyl engine head was replaced at dealer, covered under the warranty, but when the problem rose its ugly head again a couple of moths later, the warranty company administrators fought back - sorry, we cover that issue one time only, read the super fine print. Ugh.

I've used service contracts offered by the company that owns our local dealerships and the nice thing is - you don't fight Jeep to get approval.
I like the "official MOPAR coverage" but there's still a lot of fine print, and the administration can mean a lot of back and forth and at times, the cost wasn't much different.
Sometimes, I think it's a craps shoot - or luck of the draw - what's best? So many variables, including your aversion to risk and down-time.

We used Granger for our Ford Bronco Sport extended warranty.

If the vehicle was built for and shipped to the Canadian market, it will not have have any transferable OEM warranty once imported back into the USA.

If anything was implied otherwise, that is a civil matter between you and your dealership to resolve.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been in the car biz, but the CNA warranties used to be the one of the few aftermarket warranties worth purchasing. I generally say to avoid aftermarket warranties, but those covered a lot and they didn’t deny many claims.

I called my local CDJR service department, which searched my VIN and said this is NOT covered under the factory warranty. They directed me to Jeep Cares. I was forwarded on to FCA Canada, who also said my factory warranty is suspended and voided. FINALLY, the manager from the dealership where I bought it called to say they purchased a Can-Am warranty for my Jeep to ensure it had the same warranty as the factory. Now they could have saved me a whole lot of stress over the weekend if they had told me that when I bought it 3 weeks ago! They are sending over the docs so IF I should ever need work done, I have the info, contract, and phone number for my service dept. to call to get warrantied work approved. Phew! That's good, as I was about to take it back and travel 1200 miles to go get a different diesel Gladiator.

Still looking for a 3rd party Extended warranty. Local dealer uses Assurant. Anyone have experience using them? Don't think I can use Granger since it's Mopar. Endurance is too costly. I think I need a dealer to get me Zurich or CNA.

Who has not just bought but USED a 3rd party extended warranty service that they'd recommend, other than what's been listed? Can I get Zurich or CNA without a dealership since mine doesn't use them?
