I know Mopar Extended Warranty is the way to go. In fact, we turned down the dealer's third-party warranty offer when buying our used 2023 Diesel Gladiator at a Ford dealership, just because we wanted Mopar. Now that I've been shopping for said Mopar warranty, I am not able to get it due to the fact that my Gladiator was "built for the Canadian Market". Yes, I knew it was from Canada when I bought it, but I had no idea that would cause any issues here in the States. I've had the truck for 3 weeks and really want to keep it. But the reason I chose this one was because it had low miles and still had the factory warranty. My paperwork says it comes with the 3/36k and 5/60k warranty, and the sticker says that warranty was fully transferable. I'm a bit worried if that will be true, though, if I should ever need it. I will be calling the dealership where I purchased this from to verify that the warranty will be honored here. And I have a call in to the local CDJR dealer for an extended warranty quote and to see if they'd honor my existing warranty contract.
I hate the thought of taking this jeep back to the dealer, and not even sure what that will end up costing me, as I know I won't get my full purchase price back. Plus I love this truck, and I sold my Jeep CRD already, so I will be without my car, but still have the hubbies. I gotta be honest, I'm panicking a little over here this weekend.
Regardless, I still want an extended warranty. Endurance Warranty is over 2x the price of a Mopar extended warranty. Are there any third-party warranty companies that are worth considering that I can compare to? Both in pricing and in deliverables? TIA
ETA: It is registered here in MI now and insured with Progressive. Those were non-issues, so this extended warranty thing was my 1st clue I might have a little problem.
