Hello all,
Planning on installing 4;88 gears in my 2023 Mojave with 37 inch tires (adding a 2" lift). Looking at the gear/tire charts this combo is very close to the 4:10/33 inch I am running now.
My question is will I need to adjust the speedo and trans shifting? I really do not want to run a Tazer as I don't like the other issues that come up with that.
From what I can tell the speedo should be close to right on and therefore the shift points will not be affected. No tazer.
Opinions please.
Thank you for your time,

You will need to adjust speedo. If you do not want a tazer than maybe us JScan. Speedo correction takes care of transmission shifting, no changes are made to the transmission itself.

The AEV 2" spacer lift has a calibration tool included to adjust the speedo.

You don’t need to accept taser flakiness. I use mine to configure tire size, gearing, Tpms setting, etc, then unplug it and put it in the glove box. Leave it married. You don’t lose vehicle settings when it’s unplugged. You just don’t get live settings, or the weird bugs.
