It was 3 years from Bronco announce to 392 announce lol.

The engineering hasn't been done, the power trains are what they are, a YouTuber jabbering into a mic in his living room isn't a source.

I wouldn't know, but I'll check back here in another three months for that big announcement, because, hey, who's to say they didn't just slap er in there?

I mean, all you gotta do is...

Everyone knows how simple it is from the comfort of their couch.

2026 order books will be opening by fall, look forward to that moving goal post.

I fly da plane...
Then we here, on this day, shall enter into an oath of honor...

Those who foresee a 392 Gladiator two summers hence.
And those who don't.

The vanquished shall affix a vexed grill to their mount for 12 moons and decry Amsoil as the devils work.

So let it be written...
So let it be done!

Spoiler alert - It's gonna be a normally aspirated 4 cylinder.

LOL - once again, everyone leaves out the R&D and rules and regs and laws and certifications and so on for the VEHICLE.
If they change the location of a FAN, even HVAC fan, it must be documented and sent to EPA. True - it's part of evaporative emissions registrations and rules. Air flow around and through the vehicle.
There's towing (HEAT rejection under load), payload, CAFE - FLEET mpg and emissions (add a V8 to another Jeep and there goes the CAFE numbers)

Oh, but the engine is already there, and they've done it in the Wrangler!
The Wrangler isn't the Gladiator - can't say they did it in the Wrangler, nothing left to do. Different vehicle class. Gladiator is a truck, different shape, weight and selling points.

As far as where Jeeps are sold - uh - EU (France is a growing market), Middle East, and - keep thinking you are special in those states and that Montana and Colorado have the most sales. Sorry! You lose. You aren't that special.
Sales numbers say -
California, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida have the highest sales volumes...........
Yes, NY beats you out.
Gee, California - hmmmmmm............
I'm being selfish, so what... Details details, don't bother me with details...

" Gee, California - hmmmmmm............ " Gotta sell those beach editions somewhere...

Your diatribe and data does explain why all the Texas and California/Florida oriented special models though...

Not if it costs $100K. It's still a $30K truck at best.
The average new vehicle is $50k now. There are very few cars you can buy for under $30k. Hell a loaded Honda civic is north of that. Today's dollar isn't that of 1990.

Who is to say the principle engineering and testing has not already been done? When the new Bronco appeared and was all the panty dropper for some, Jeep shit the 392 version Wrangler pretty quick to get some of the mojo back.

I just can't believe that people believe 90% of these so-called "people with information". It's almost always crap based on "Jeep did this and that so from that we know this is coming" or even less info and more guessing. It's how they make money and quench their thirst for followers. How would they possibly "know"?

I don't want a big V-8 in my Jeeps. I like the V-6 , plenty for me. It's my daily driver and I only use it off road for surf fishing the beach. Just my opinion.

What about a little V8? 😁

I had a 4.7L V8 in a TJ and that thing was fun to drive.

I would love a JT with a V8 but I am not willing to sell mine for the going rate yet. I have. clean $80K in mine with all the mods. I bought it when full MSRP was a good deal so I will have to walk away from at least $40K.
BTW, looks like a small percent of the 3.6s are going south. But a small percent of millions is still a huge number.
