looks like maverick competition. Bed is attached to cab so i'm assuming unibody.

Tinfoil hat on time: I am going to say RAM is going to be like Ford and their Maverick in that they really do not want to sell a bazillion of these even if demand is there. They want people buying their $75K+ half ton trucks, not sub $30K MSRP trucks because the profit margins are way less.

You are not going to find a on dealer lot MSRP priced or cheaper Rampage even 2+ years from now.

Hopefully it will have the Hurricane Inline 6 like whats in the Wagoneer. I would jump all over a small truck with some power in a heartbeat. I was tempted to buy a Ram Sport but couldn't find one with leather in the price range I was looking in. The maverick would be great with the Coyote or one of the bigger ecoboost engines

Likely to help fleet numbers as Stellantis just paid a nearly $300,000 fine for not meeting CAFE numbers last decade.
They just need to sell enough to stay out of trouble.

Looks to be the 2.0 as found in the JL.

You already know you're dreaming. They don't shove big motors in tiny vehicles anymore. That would be too much fun and cannibalize sales of their larger, more expensive models.

Can you imagine if a Rampage Hurricane was faster than a TRX? 9.6lb/hp in the TRX, and with Hurricanes pushing up to 510hp they could get a Rampage to around 7.5lb/hp. But they would NEVER do anything that would challenge the status of the TRX even if they are meant to be completely different trucks.

Amazing, someone in the internet actually looks at the HP to weight ratio? So rare to see that.

Stellantis needs to up their CAFE numbers. They have NO CAFE credits and any fines must be paid with cash. GM and others have credits if they choose to pay fines with credits, Stellantis does not. They will be in trouble if they don't up those numbers as it's getting even more tight in the near future.
Big engine is out. They need CAFE numbers for the fleet.
Of course if this isn't USA-bound, may not matter............
