8.4 Display in Sport-S

So, I see (can't find the thread though!) that you can get the 8.4 display now in the Sport-S.
Does that mean you get the tech package/alpine upgrade as part of that package, or how is that ordered?
Also, what is the cost compared to the 7" tech package with Alpine upgrade?

You have to order tech package and the "premium audio with 8.4" package. It's around $2600 msrp for the combo of bigger screen / tech package and premium audio

But I saw someone post that there's a delay until. Jan on the 8.4. I've been trying to find out for sure but haven't seen anything concrete yet.

Correct, but do you have the technology package too I believe. You need both. The $1695 package just increases the screen in the tech package and adds premium audio to it.

If you add the current premium audio and tech group/7", that comes to 2290 MSRP, so 2600 wouldn't be nuts for that.

Any updates on the 8.4" issues? Are the issues something technical with the displays, or just a supply issue?

I don't see any notes about issues with the 8.4" screen option. That being said vehicle ordering is currently only open for sold orders, stock ordering will be available in January for February production.

If someone was planning to get the Alpine stereo with the 7" screen then the 8.4" Radio & Premium Audio Group is actually a really nice upgrade for an additional $400. For only $400 more than that combination you're getting the Uconnect 4C Navigation w/8.4" Display, HD Radio, Rear View Auto Dim Mirror, 5-Year SiriusXM Traffic Service

Thanks for that info. I thought it was a great price for only $400 more. I ordered on Nov 9th so I should be fine shouldn't I? Last week I was still in C status, but the order was placed.

once you get to D1 status shoot me your vin and I can give you tracking info on the vehicle
