8.4 Nav - Bluetooth connection keeps dropping

2021 Mojave - Iphone 7 - Connected bluetooth for Spotify and it keeps dropping the connection randomly. Will play for 10-15 min then drops the connection. My wife also has a 2021 Mojave and it doesn't happen when I connect my phone to hers. As far as I can tell everything is updated on phone and radio. Is there something else I can check in the settings?? (I know, first world problems...)

Is it actually disconnecting, or is Spotify just stopping? Check the Bluetooth connections page. If it isn’t actually dropping the device, try closing Chrome/Safari if you use them. Sometimes the rich media video/ads can take over and it will kill your music.

Yes it's disconnecting because on screen is says connect bluetooth device then after a bit it will reconnect but won't start playing again automatically. Just thought it was strange because it doesn't happen when connected to wife's Mojave and 8.4 system.

I would try to delete the phone from the headunit BT, reboot phone, then re-add it.

There was another thread where this remove/reboot/re-add reconfigure BT on the headunit and stopped dropping connection. Just a thought - I hope this works for you.

My Rubicon recently dropped my Android from BT and wouldn't reconnect. I had to "pair a new device" and add my phone again, even though I only had 2 phones paired and mine was the primary. Has dropepd it since then.
