So let me start out by saying I’m a Jeep new comer and I’m not sure if these are problems or normal. 2021 sport S only mods are Mojave wheels and tires. A bit of background….purchased JT back in November 2020 and in december added 285/70/17 Falken wildpeaks AT’s on the stock sport S wheels. I started tracking my gas mileage back in december 2020 using the fuelly app. Driving habits are very consistent about 70% highway 30 city. Back in mid September i changed over to the Mojave wheels and tires. Since then i have seen gas mileage drop about 1.5 MPG. Could this be a result of the tires being a bit heavier at 63lbs compared to the P rated ones at 50lbs? Could it be the change over to ”winter blend gas” and colder temps? could it be that i readjusted my tire size again after changing over to the Mojave‘s because i felt like it was previously off because my speedo was showing about 3mph slower than actual reading so i made a very slight adjustment (.25) to get the speedometer to within 1mph? Ok next……i have noticed lately that the truck is holding on to 7th gear a bit longer than it always had. Could this be decreasing MPG and why would it be doing that? Could all these things be tied in somehow? I know 1.5mpg is not a big deal in the big picture its just something that makes me wonder. Last but not least the rear end has devolved a squeak that i first noticed while going over a speed bum. if i press down on the rear bumper i am able to replicate it. Any ideas on that? Thanks for listening and sorry for the long winded post
