Ran across this handy little tool to help our backs when removing, installing or rotating our Jeep tires/wheels. All I know is that even my 33's are a chore to deal with when working on the floor.

$149.95 Wow! I like it but will make one myself. A simple Jr. High School shop project.
They are available for $135.00 with free ship from other sources. I just ordered one. Tire rotation coming soon.

When I saw your post I was ready to sign up for one and went looking for it online. But when I saw the price it stopped me dead in my tracks. I'll have to stick with the old coal shovel I've been using.

Also my garage floor cement is spalled from salt dripping off the vehicles over the years and would probably need larger casters under it.

Thanks for posting it though.

Here is one for doors from a different company. Not very compact, however.

TopLift Pros Jeep Door Removal Tool | Jeep Door Removal Lift
$200 will pay for 20 months of membership at a Planet Fitness.
I think that would be a better investment.

Doors don't require you to get into awkward positions or lift in a way that may injure you. Unlike changing tires.

My suggestion is that 3 months of shoulder presses, some pull ups, and chops and you will be good to go.

The trac tire jack got me thinking. The idea is brilliant but the cost is ridiculous.

So what about this.

You buy this skateboard from Amazon for $25 shipped to your door.

Then you buy this folding shovel. Note that the shovel folds into itself on the inside of the spade.
Mount one of the trucks to the outside of the spade and you have yourself a folding, rolling tire jack for $37. Or TWO of them for $50

Or use a shovel you already have and make 2 for $12.50 each.

Agreed! I just threw that link out because another poster asked about it.

No need for additional workout time for me as my doors stay on. I have no desire to remove them.

Being that I won't be hitting the gym, it gets me thinking of a big ol' pizza for lunch today! ?

Ha. I am fortunate to have my wife's car to drive most of the time and to have an attached garage that is clean and dry.

So I've had my doors off for probably 75% of the time since June.

I love the Roof ON and doors off feel. The roof keeps the sun off my head and the doors give me an open air feeling. If it rains or I need to drive on the highway for more than 10 minutes, I take my wife's car.

Back on topic. I'm really digging that folding shovel with the skate board truck bolted to it idea.

If you put wing nuts on the skateboard bolts, the shovel becomes a recovery tool with the truck removed.

I just use a tire iron if I'm not feeling like lifting a tire. Worked for years putting in semi truck tires.

3/4 Plywood and some casters could probably do the same thing

Get a set of car skates for half the price and will have far better casters to carry a lot of weight
