Thanks guys!! Will look around for a good dealer to order from tomorrow.
Great choice! I really enjoy my Mojave. Ordered mine as well. If it is the safety features that you desire, don't forget to add the LED light group. If you drive at night at all, your eyes will thank you! ;)

Where do you live. your profile just says USA.

There are a number of dealers that support this forum and offer up to 8% off of invoice. I saved over $6000 off MSRP on my Mojave.

I’m in Louisiana. $6k is amazing. I emailed Gupton yesterday but haven’t heard back. Any other tips would be appreciated. I’m not against a road trip

I used Gupton and was very happy.

They were a little slow out of the gate. They get a ton of emails from people "interested".

What finally got their attention was an email with the subject line. "Ready to Order, would like to move forward".

At that point I had done multiple trial configs on jeep.com and saved them. I had used the price guide on this site and made up a spreadsheet with everything I wanted and sent that to them.

They sent me an email back with a config and a button to leave a deposit if it was correct. After a couple of back and forth, I left a $1000 deposit.

3 months later they emailed me that my truck was in, I flew down, they picked me up at the airport and brought me there. The paperwork matched the emailed pricing to the penny, I signed and drove 1100 miles home.

Zero stress really.

There are other dealers with similar good reps. But Gupton was $1200 less than the next cheaper dealer and had a great rep as easy to buy from.

They are a small store doing big store volume. So they are stretched thin. The only complaint I had was that my Jeep wasn't prepped as well cosmetically as it could have been.

If I really cared I could have spent $300 of the $6000 I saved and had it detailed. In the end it was irrelevant since I drove through a snow squall on my way home.

I have no problem with people who enjoy this stuff, i've certainly enjoyed it in the past. But what makes my gladiator amazing is the 3rd pedal, and adaptive cruise doesn't mix with manuals nearly as well as it does with automatics. Especially in a vehicle where the minimum cruise speed for top gear is 65. On the highway any little slowdown will require interaction and once you hit that clutch the cruise shuts off.
Hmmmm......I have adaptive cruise in my 6 speed Mojave, and I agree that it works better in vehicles with auto transmissions. However - I find it very useful for highway conditions, and using the clutch (i.e. shifting) does not disable the ACC. I can up shift or down shift and the ACC keeps chugging right along just fine at the same speed.

That's actually great news. Not for me but for other people. The dumb cruise control definitely shuts off the second you press the clutch, so I made a poor assumption that was true across the line.
