First Time Jeep, Just put an order in.

Sooooo kinda out of no where I ordered a Jeep Gladiator today. I have been eyeballing all kinds of toys, Old Trackers, Old Jeeps, New Jeep, maybe a Miata. did a lot of looking at the a new Bronco for several months now, Hell I have been looking at new motorcycles the past weeks now, just cannot find something that fit the bill exactly. Crypto and investments have been piling up and i have not purchased something for my self in a long time. I also have a hard time parting ways with money.
The problem with "adding" a toy to the driveway is I'm kinda out of space. I don't mind spending the money on the extra plates/insurance for a toy but I really don't want do the shuffle to get the thing in and out of the driveway/garage.
Sooooo i really should just replace my truck. I really kicked around getting a new Bronco and picking up a small folding trailer, but that's really inconvenient. Also i have a larger double axle trailer to haul the other things that are really heavy. I knew whatever I ended up with would have 3 peddles in it, so the base Bronco is only rated to some 2500#, ok I guess and a Wrangler isn't far from that thus making my trailer almost useless.
So if I just accept the fact that my Colorado can go, and replace it with a Gladiator I can kinda "check" all the boxes. I plopped down a down payment on a new Sport S, Red with a manual, They forced me into some LED package, but outside of that no other options. I dont need them, I have a car that I commute in for work, I have a long drive and that thing has all the fancy buttons.

Looking forward to something I can enjoy with my family, I have 5 y/o that is going to love the top off. I figured this thing with the doors off is mildly safer than putting him on the bike at this age.
It still has a bed on it, making my life easier
And its got a man stick. Something I have missed dearly in my Colorado.

This really is out of the norm for me to spend this kinda money on a new vehicle. I swore it off in 2016 when I purchased my Colorado. With how crazy used vehicle prices are these days, my hope is to be able to sell my old truck, some investments and some crypto and maybe (fingers crossed) come out the other side with no payment. If I have a little bit of a payment for a while its not really a big deal but I do enjoy not making vehicle payments.

To be quite honest, im not quite sure what all im getting with the truck. I typically research and over evaluate these major purchases over months, not this time. The idea hit me 2 days ago, crunched some numbers and just kinda did it.
Sorry for the ramble, trying to justify my purchase (future purchase I guess).... Im sure it will all be fine.

That's where I was at before I made the decision on a Gladiator. Where I live right now I only have space for two vehicles, so I try to make the most of them (both are daily driven). The Gladiator is a great jack of all trades vehicle: Fun off the road, has a truck bed, light towing capability, convertible, unique/has a personality, and has a great community (both people and aftermarket options).
