Well Walter got back to me the other day and said that the forced LED package add on was a glitch in the system and I should send over another build if I'm interested.

Well I'm still interested!

Sent him this build!:

Jeep Gladiator Sport S
Firecracker Red
8 Speed auto transmission 850RE
Popular Equipment Package
Cold Weather Group
Black wheels / AT Tires

Came out to M.S.R.P.: $47,200
Forum Pricing (5% below Factory Wholesale Price [Invoice]): $43,305
If you qualify for Affiliate Rewards, there is an additional 1% discount or $42,875
Qualify for Affiliate Rewards AND Finance through Gupton Motors, you get a 1% additional discount: $42,444.

I'm sure some will say no max tow - but I don't really tow anything too serious. I think the standard tow capacity of 6000lbs will suit just fine for us.

I am also planning on aftermarket Tonneau cover, bedliner, and side steps.

Gupton just responded to my build and the build now requires the LED Headlamp and Fog Lamp Group which is unfortunate.

M.S.R.P.: $50,340
Forum Pricing (5% below Factory Wholesale Price [Invoice]): $45,995
If you qualify for Affiliate Rewards, there is an additional 1% discount or $45,533

I'm really not excited as I was about it... I loved that $43.5k price point for the options I chose.
Go for the LED package, you won't regret it. So worth it.

If you intend to get bigger tires/lift, I would add the max tow package. As discussed, it will give you 4.10 gears and wider axles (which will allow you to run wider tires, especially if you run them on stock wheels) amongst other things. If you intend to stay stock, then maybe it’s not for you...

When I ordered my 22 Sport S, I was told I could not get cold weather package and black wheels at the same time. I had to choose...went with cold weather, as I knew I would replace the wheels anyway. Maybe that has changed.

My one regret is not getting Proximity doors. There is a Mopar kit to add it later, but I really underestimated how much I would miss it. We have them on every other car in our house. Minor inconvenience, but def should have done it. it’s on my list to add at some point.

Same here I didn't realize with all of the overlap of the 8.4 upgrade that I also had to select the Tech package to get the larger gauge cluster and the proximity doors weren't included. Ooops! I would like to add proximity but not sure if it can be done at this point.

Thanks for the advice! I still haven't officially ordered yet. Waiting to hear back from Gupton to put my deposit down, but now I'm having second thoughts!

What's the biggest tire you can put on Sport S (without max tow)? 35? I wouldn't want to go bigger than that tbh....
