Traded my JL for a JT on Xmas eve. Was a 1 owner from someone I've known for a very long time. 2020 with the altitude package and 1900 miles on it. I drove it maybe 30 miles and had the service start stop light on. Then check engine light came on. Took it in got it back didn't really say much besides drove it 6 times with no problems. Got it home and drove to work the next day. On the way home it didn't want to shift to 3rd, lugged hard, check engine light started blinking, service start stop on again. Barely made it to dealer (thought it was going to die) and was told it gave a lean code and needed 2 02 sensors replaced on right side. It never has gave the p0300 code number. The other number I was not sure. Was too mad and forgot the number. This is very frustrating as I've seen others very upset which we all should be. I really love this truck and been jeep owners for a very long time. Question is does anyone know an actual fix yet or is this how it's going to be? Thanks for any information

Doesn’t sound like the same problem as p0300 random misfire if the code isn’t present. I’m skeptical that two O2 sensors would go out that quickly. Hopefully they find a quick fix. Maybe (hopefully) bad fuel/pump?

I'm hoping so. I'm going to slide over there Tuesday and find some more out now Ive calmed down a bit about it. Reading the misfire problems my truck was acting the same as far as start stop light then check engine light. Rough idle and saying it was lean Wasn't sure

The service start/stop now can mean the small aux battery that runs the start/stop system is bad or not being charged properly. Could be alternator isn't working well enough to provide spark.

Was it ever run through mud repeatedly?! ;)

The problem is that you are trying to connect to specific issues others are having. Even those giving the P0300 code won't necessarily share the exact same fix.
Some were fixed with a PCM update, others were not, some required serious engine work, others did not. Your symptoms sound a lot different than most I've seen here.
P0300 is multiple cylinder misfire - PLUS you said you had another code (lean code???) others have not mentioned. To me that's a clue you have a different issue.
People shouldn't be looking for a single common fix for all engine misfires.

Hi @JLsport19 ,
I heard you're having concerns...but it sounds like you've taken the right steps and are getting it serviced by a dealer. If you'd like any additional support while working with them, please feel free to send us a private message with your current mileage & VIN. I'd be happy to look into it further for you!

Thank you. I should be getting it back tomorrow. Had them keep it for 2 extra days to drive a few times to ensure no other problems. If it happens again I will be in touch with you. Thanks again. And thanks to the ones here that were helpful @JeepCares
