Hello All,

I am potentially buying a Gladiator with no power windows, if circumstances were different, i would 100% opt to pay for the powered windows/locks etc... but...

After a bit of searching, i didn't quite find the answer i was looking for but from what I've gathered is that aftermarket power windows kits will take sometime IF a company decides to make a kit and they're a pain to install / won't look factory.

So... I could order OEM - and install myself but does anyone know a parts list or how easy this is to install?

Is it simply Parts + hooking up to pre-existing plugs? Maybe drill a few pre-drilled cut outs and hardware?

thanks in advance for any input.

In my humble opinion, I’d just go with the sport s that comes with power Windows if that’s important for you.

Last year I installed a power window kit in my 08 Ram, wasn’t awful but a pain. For the new truck cost, I’d say you’re better off getting what you want. Lots of good prices/rebates

Yeah, I totally agree with yeah that if i could, i would prefer sport S with the powered window rather than installing myself BuT... i am moving forward with a gladiator (i'm getting a good price for the market today)...

I can live with the manual windows for now and be patient for aftermarket or maybe if a member does a write up to see the work entailed..

I added them on my JK sport. It's a COMPLETE INSTALL no wiring is there already

I did not use a kit.. I sourced most of my parts online and one switch locally.
I used factory replacement switches, and aftermarket replacement regulators. I ran all the wiring through the factory plugs(had to find the right pins)

The door module is different between power and non power but they bolt on in the same place, so I just lined up the mounting points and trimmed with a Dremel as needed.

In my opinion (20yrs as a tech) the install is easy but involved... Meaning it's not complicated but you have take ALOT apart, and the wiring gets tedious.
I cost me less than $450 total. But it probably took me 2/3 of 2 different weekends (with beer)

I wouldn't do it again vs just buying a sport S

I appreciate the information, That's great information in terms of cost, parts and of course installation time.

Any chance you can dig up the parts list? thanks!

Not sure what you mean by a list other than what I mentioned in my post... Switches, connectors, regulators, wire, and what ever the correct pins are for the factory connectors

No I don't write down part numbers...but even if I did, JK numbers wouldn't do you any good.
