You and my son........... he's into making things and programming the Raspberry PI. And better yet - he's got his 8 year old son programming stuff, too. I wish inheriting stuff could go backwards a generation.i have to add that im a tech junky, and have TONS of wireless stuff / bluetooth, wifi, remote control cars, remotes etc being used all the time. What did you end up using? This sounds pretty greati was going to do the voswitch setup, but i found out I could go wireless for much much cheaper. (like 30$). Not have to run any firewall wires, and be able to integrate into my garage door opener. Works great for me.
It was just a Pilot automotive wireless receiver. What did you end up using? This sounds pretty great
beening learn into the garage door opener, I wonder if then you could learn into the Homelink buttons! It was just a Pilot automotive wireless receiver.
I originally added the factory set and have already basically run out. I currently have a light bar, 4 front light pods, rear light pods, winch cut-off, and air compressor that need switches. I combined the light bar and front pods, but have an Eaton E-Locker sitting in my garage waiting to go in. I also have a roof-rack arriving that has a spot for 4 more light pods that I'd like to put amber lights in. So I decided to get the VOSwitch 8 switch pod. Now I'll run light bar, 4 front pods, roof-rack pods, rear pods, winch cut-off, air compressor, locker, with space for one last one (thinking CB radio). That leaves me with the factory pod and nothing in mind how to use it. Then again, I thought 4 would be enough.Your comment makes me wonder if there's anyone who has removed the factory switches in favor of others - making a "take-off" available.........
If it was 100% complete and the price was in my budget I may be interested in an original Jeep switch set.I originally added the factory set and have already basically run out. I finally got around to hooking up the auxiliary switch panel.I have a question about the different auxilary switch panels available. Are these switches can bus type switches or can they wired directly to my own relay?
I want my switches to be located where factory put them. I currently have a small cubby at the lower right of my dash panel. I bought a switch panel from S-Tech ( don't have it yet ) but it looks close to the factory switch panel.
