Is that the wireless setup? Switches inside that transmit to the "works" outside under the hood?
That's an option I'd consider due to ease of installation - but I also look for mixed options as far as some hot ignition off, some hot only while acc or run position.........
The control box is under the hood. Wireless controller is cab. You can also use bluetooth with your phone, but I just use the wireless controller that it comes with.

Mounted using the overhead fascia. Out of the way. Reminds me of the spod I had in my JKU. The wireless controller held onto the fascia with magnets. Can be pulled off and put in your pocket if you want to control out of the cab. That being said, I've not needed to pull it off yet.

I have the wired to the DRL. If I wanted to run it engine off, I can just turn my light switch to DRL. Or it's on when ever I turn on the truck.

n fact, most get by without them at all. I'm still waffling about getting them as I find a use one day and then ask - who am I trying to convince, the next.
I showed them to my wife when I finished the install.

Wife: What are you going to wire to them?

Me: I don't know. Maybe lights some day.

Wife: Why were you in such a rush to get them and put them in?

Me: I knew the install was going to be a bitch and it was bothering me thinking about it so I wanted to get it over with.

Wife: ......

Me: .......

This. Other than for powering my dash cam, they're just a very firm "nice to have". Gonna do some dudebro interior LEDs here soon though just to say I am using them... lol

I went with the trigger 6 shooter. Bought it on sale during black friday. Didn't feel like running wires. Easiest system aux I've installed.
I use the Trigger in my Alu-Cab canopy camper to power my interior/exterior lights and USB/12V outlets. Love it.
